They sent me pictures and notes frequently so I could see she was doing well. I was only gone two days and while she was excited to see me, she clearly had enjoyed her stay. She hates my car because every time she gets in it she has new scary experiences - vets and going to strangers homes. I knew she had been happy with her stay because her excitement at seeing me was short-lived when she realized we were getting in my car. She turned right around and ran back up the steps preferring to stay with her new friends rather than face the unknown horrors the car could bring! 😁 Fortunately for her - the trip was straight home. And as soon as her belongings were back in their places, she quickly returned to trusting me. So I knew her time away had been good. (And full of the one on one attention she needs!)”

Although I had to technically select that I live in an apartment I actually live on the main level of a warehouse condo with private access, a yard and a garage!

About: I have had pets my whole life! As well have taken care of pets for family and friends, I am able to administer insulin to cats as my brothers is diabetic and I have been providing this care when he needs it! I have also dealt with my fair share of super nervous pets, who take a little bit of time to trust but always end up the sweetest. I will deliberately keep my day(s) clear so the pet gets consistent attention, proper walks, and company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. I take the safety and comfort of every pet seriously. I am currently unable to provide care in my own home; however, I am more than willing to stay overnight at your home if requested. Before any booking, I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet in a neutral public space so you and your pet can get comfortable with me beforehand! During care, I will also keep my location services on so you can check in on walks at any time. Additionally, I will send pictures and/or videos throughout my stay so you are always kept up to date! I won't take dogs to dog parks or allow unplanned interactions with other animals unless you've specifically asked for that. I also make it a habit to walk through the space and clear any potential hazards, such as cleaning supplies, loose cords, anything within reach that shouldn't be. I fully understand leaving your pet in the hands of a stranger can be stressful, which is why I try my best to alleviate as much of that as possible so you, and your pet, can enjoy your time away.
