“Charlie had stayed with Anh and her family for 9 nights for the first time. Although he never stayed with non- family member before, I felt at ease and safe leaving Charlie with Anh. She took care as if he was her own. I received daily updates and photos of Charlie, including an overall summary of his time at the end of his boarding. “Janice and her husband took care of Oscar for 2 weeks. It was the first time we left him for such a long time with someone who he did not know, so we was a little worried at first. However, from our first meeting with Janice and Gilles, we knew everything would go well. They, and their house, were just so welcoming and loving that Oscar felt comfortable with them, right away and we felt much more at ease. Janice sent pictures almost daily with updates about how he was doing. They went above and beyond in taking care of Oscar. We would not hesitate to board him with them, again. “Melissa was truly incredible with Spencer. From the start, she took meticulous care of his dietary and medication needs.Even when Spencer had a bit of a territorial issue, she was patient and understanding. Spencer also did great with her kids, which says a lot about the comfortable environment she created. She was very attentive to his no-jumping, no-running instructions, ensuring safe, gentle walks due to his new IVDD diagnosis ( we found out about it a week prior to Melissa boarding Spencer). On top of that, she sent daily updates and plenty of pictures, just as we asked especially considering we were a bit stressed due to the new diagnosis and Spence not at his 100% when we left. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, reliable sitter! Thank you so much Melissa!”
