About: I’m an experienced veterinary assistant who loves the outdoors. I have been around animals my whole life and practiced my vet assistant skills by volunteering in Mexico at spay and neuter clinics. I will treat your dog or cat as if they were my own. I have my own vehicle and I own my own home. Your pet will be in great hands 😊 I work for the Whistler Blackcomb Events department in the winter and in the summer I landscape. I have had both of these jobs for 4 years, since moving to Whistler. I am free in the evenings and days off will be devoted to your pet. I am an early riser, up for walks, always making sure your pet has ample outside time. My house is cozy and clean. I allow pets on my couch, as long as that is the same treatment they get at home. I am an early riser, up for walks, always making sure your pet has ample outside time. My house is cozy and clean. About: I have always had pets… dogs, cats, llamas, iguanas to parrots and toucans and loved and spoiled them all passionately! You can relax while away, knowing your pet is content and cared for in the most loving way possible. I do prefer dogs to be 60 pounds or less. I am retired with lots of time to walk and play with your pets . I am live rurally, surrounded by nature, with a river at the back of my acreage and a rail/trail out front. I live on acreage. While your pet(s) is staying with me, he/she would always be leashed outside for walks. Inside however, my home would be their home and there'll be lots of cuddles and interaction.

“Super nice couple! Took care of my dog while on a ski trip. Even if my dog require a lot of outdoor time, he get her out multiple time during the day to make sure she's happy! Will definetly contact them again!”

“Our dog guinness had a lovely time :)”

“A dog is not a pet, it is a full part, a full member of the family. As such, whenever you decide to travel and have to leave him behind you have to deal with the stress of making sure he will be happy and well treated while you are away. Sydney is not a dog walker, she is a dog lover ! She goes well beyond taking care of ours and it is always funny (or maybe a bit upseting ;-) )to see our dog (Maverick) being SO Happy to leave us and go with her.... Maverick is treated as a King with her and it is good not to leave him for too long as he will easily get used to it :-) Sydney is by far the best we have ever experienced with our dog and is a great person as well. You can give her 100% of your trust and i will certainly continue to do so for the years to come !”

“I don't understand why, but sometimes my mom goes away for a few days and doesn't take me with her. I've told her I fit fine in her suitcase. Even when it's already packed with her clean clothes, I'm pretty confident I can fit if I THINK small. But my mom knows I really should be treated like royalty, so when she DOES have to leave me at home, she invites Gramma Berta to stay with me. I adopted this really nice lady because she understands that I'm basically a small human. I have standards. She knows I should receive every kind of snuggle, but on my terms (which translates to:OFTEN). She ALSO knows where Mom keeps the treat bag, which is super important. A few times I even went on vacation to Roberta Lady's house without my mom. She lives with a dog for some reason, (I know, weird right?) but it was pretty easy to explain to Harley how important I am and he said so long as I leave his chew toy alone he wouldn't bug me. He even taught me a few tricks. I got my own room and we sat out in the garden so I could listen to the birds and burn off some calories laying in the sun. I know my mom wasn't having a vacation like me but she felt very safe letting me visit because I told her how well I'm looked after there. AND she probably asked all kinds of important safety questions and left my long list of demands... I mean... suggestions. Of course I love my mom most, but I'm pretty excited for the next time I get to hang out there. I think I might ask Gramma B to bake me some sardine cookies. Sulu approved. Where does my paw print go?”
