“First time experience using Rover. My sitters were Elizabeth and Gary C. They are wonderful,generous loving,caring dog people. They took on my 3 female dogs,various ages at very short notice for 10 days. I received pictures of my girls everyday, playing,being loved and just having a great time! I have a 15 yr old and 2 8yr olds. They are very fussy eaters. Somehow they got them on normal food. That is great for me! They are very quick to respond to texts. Right up to the last minute Elizabeth let me know how the girls were doing. Best experience I could have possibly had with boarding my girls. I never had a concern for their care or safety. They were in great hands with Elizabeth and Gary. I will definately be calling on Elizabeth and Gary again!”
About: I have lived on a farm all my life. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I ensure good care of animals. I would take them for a walk, reward good behaviours with treats. I have a lot of property that I could take a dog to go on a walk. I have a Golden Retriever and her name is Juno, she is 3yr old and she is very friendly to all dogs . Mostly I am at home that gives me availability to take care of dogs on even short notice. I have lots of space on the farm for the dogs which is great for energetic dogs. I always have them on a leash for trust to be built, and so they are next to me at all times. I have my own space in my parents house so a more reserved dog can build trust at their own level.

“I cannot say enough good things about Cindy and her family! We were really nervous about leaving our pup for multiple days because he’s only 4 months old and we had never left him before, but from the moment we met Cindy, we immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Cindy and her family are incredibly warm and friendly, so helpful and accommodating, and just really good people who are amazing with animals. We are super over the top with our dog, we have a million toys, stairs for the couch, a crate, a playpen, and I even printed out a 4-pager of instructions because I’m THAT dog mom haha! Cindy literally took it all in with no issue at all, she was amazing about training our pup and sticking to his routine, she took him out to pee every couple of hours, and literally he just got to be snuggled and loved constantly everyday. I could not be happier to have found such a wonderful family who is so good with our pup, so patient with all my details and instructions, so amazing about sending updates and pictures the whole time so that we could see how comfortable and happy our pup was. Cindy is our number one choice for someone that we can trust to take the best care of our little guy and we will go to her as often as she is willing to have him! About: I have over 12+ years of dog ownership experience as well as 3+ years experience in dog adoption/fostering. Taking care of other people's pets is second nature to me. As a dog owner myself, I understand that it is stressful to relinquish control of your pets care to someone else. I was caught up in the business of the 9-5 workday and stressed to find care for my dogs that was personable and affordable. I have recently lost my job and in the midst of looking for work, I decided to open up my home to some furry friends! **I am only able to provide care from 8am-6pm daily for doggy daycare** I am currently searching for my next job opportunity since being laid off. I have daily available during the work day with overnight care offered if needed. I have a fully fenced, large yard as well as two dogs of my own. The care for your dog would be directly in my home, they wouldn't be outside all day/ignored. If the weather is bad, we may just sit back and watch TV after playtime! My dogs are very friendly and playful but I do have a dachshund who is very small, therefore I can only accept dogs that are 40lbs and under.

My dogs are allowed on the couch and bed, yours will be too, unless you prefer they aren't allowed for manners training! My home is puppy proofed (my one dog is a 6 month old puppy), so everything is out of reach and puppy safe. I have 2 sphynx cats as well that love dogs, and the cat litter is behind gates and out of reach for dogs. I have two children, ages 10 and 12. They have grown up with many dogs and cats, we had a busy dog boarding kennel for their entire childhood until we sold it a few years ago.

What really made us realize this was going to be our Rosie haven going forward was when we got stuck out of town because if horrible wheather and were stressing out about having to rush home to pick up Rosie. I messaged Kollin and he was so chil and did not mind our changing plans half way through the reservations. It was extremely kind and we'll never forget it. About: I've had the privilege of growing up with dogs since I was little, so their day to day needs come naturally to me. Around 10 years old I took my love for animals to a new level by beginning to walk dogs in my neighborhood. The families that I worked for trusted me to care for their fur babies and I loved each of them as if they were my own. At the age of 21 I began working at a veterinary clinic and currently still work within the industry. Annie is 2 and loves playing with other dogs. She is fully vaccinated and very friendly. She’ll help burn out the energy of other dogs at the dog park no problem! I have also had experience owning other small household pets as well. Since I have the time and experience, I am looking to assist in helping people find care for their pets while they are at work or away from home. I have full availability at the moment. I am able to discuss discounts for multiple days/nights of care if needed. I have a fully fenced backyard and a large doggy door so that your fur baby will be able to use the door if needed and go outside as they wish to play/ use the bathroom. However, I will also monitor them in case they do not use this doggy door (Annie will show them how to use it!). I am certified by the Canadian Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR. I will also send hourly updates from 8 am to 8 pm to send a photo or advise on how your dog is doing and what they are up to. when taking dogs out for walks, I will ensure they are kept off of busy streets and only walk them when the pavement is not too hot for their paws/ grass or trail walks only. If taking dogs to the dog park, I will ensure they are monitored closely to ensure they are in a safe and happy environment without aggressive dogs. I will monitor pets eating and pooping and advise if there are any issues. I will ensure they have enough clean drinking water (we used Brita Filtered water). In the event the dog gets muddy or dirty I can bathe them as well.

About: I have been a huge dog lover since I was young! I have a passion for working with animals and have experience with handling and training leash aggressive, reactive dogs! I have cared for a variety of breeds and sizes and am comfortable with all! Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. Although my partner and I live in Thamesford, Ontario, I frequently travel to Toronto to babysit our family dog. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. About: I have lived on a farm all my life. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I ensure good care of animals. I would take them for a walk, reward good behaviours with treats. I have a lot of property that I could take a dog to go on a walk. I have a Golden Retriever and her name is Juno, she is 3yr old and she is very friendly to all dogs . Mostly I am at home that gives me availability to take care of dogs on even short notice. I have lots of space on the farm for the dogs which is great for energetic dogs. I always have them on a leash for trust to be built, and so they are next to me at all times. I have my own space in my parents house so a more reserved dog can build trust at their own level.
