“We took our two year old Westie to Jen and Brents for an overnight stay to see how she would do. Maggie loved being there. She was so well cared for that when we came to pick her up it was like a quick 'Hi!!' and kiss and she was off. We where curious to see how she would fair at betime but she snuggled in on their bed (although she is a 'bed hog!!!' or I say a 'pillow hog?'. but felt right at home. They spent time playing with her with her toys, making sure she had lots of outside time. Maggie loves to be outside. So we would highly recomend Jen and Brent to take care of your beloved pet anytime if you are looking for exceptional care. We will be using them again for sure.”

We had met with another sitter before them and it just didn’t feel right, but from our very first meet and greet with Heather and Matt, we immediately knew they were the perfect fit. We felt confident leaving Charlie in their care. They treated him like part of their family and truly loved him. Their communication was exceptional—we received regular updates and lots of photos, which gave us such peace of mind. This was especially important to us as Charlie had recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back and still had stitches. They followed all instructions perfectly and were so attentive and caring. Charlie is also very spoiled and loves being cozy with his blankets, and they went above and beyond by setting up his bed near the fireplace to keep him warm! About: Since our 1st family dog as a child our house has always been filled with furry paws. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from small to large. I am a childcare provider who is working part time. I have lots of free time during the day to care for your special furry friend. I work part time so have lots of free time to get out and go for walks during the day in all types of weather. About: No request from you is too big!! My husband and I live in the middle of Welland. I started a not-for-profit dog rescue (Red Dog Rescue) from my home. Since then I ran another rescue as well. In total, we have saved 600 dogs off the streets and shelters of Texas since January 2020 and re-homed them here in Ontario. I left running dog rescues in 2024 as we welcomed our new son, but I do still foster the occasional dog! We own 3 rescue dogs total: 1. Carolina Dog (named KD) 2. Husky (Pretzel) 3. American Bulldog (Silver) We go for walks, runs, hiking on trails and trips to the park daily, and in the summer months we spend all day outside! We do not go to dog parks due to the risk of incidents. We believe a tired dog is a good dog. Frozen peanut butter or treats in Kong's are given MINIMUM daily depending on allergies/sensitivities, along with a good bone marrow or pig accessory to chew on, with permission from you! Our love for these animals is unending and all dog guests are treated like our own. We live a very active lifestyle but are willing to tone it down to care for sick/old dogs as well. Contagious sicknesses however we cannot accept due to the high amount of dogs we have coming and going. We have a private dog area for dogs that are not socialized/aggressive but can only take 1 at a time. All dogs are “puppies” in our house, no matter how old they are. Corey and Robyn are Paramedics however Robyn now works from home while on mat leave, so someone is always home, unless stepping out for the occasional appointment. We both know first aid and CPR for dogs, as well as any wound care and are willing to take the dog to a vet of your choice if needed, but are able to determine if the dog needs to go to the closest facility in case of an emergency. We both have experience with pilling animals and treating wounds, as well as needle injections. Robyn worked at a vet clinic for 6 years with cats and dogs. She opened a grooming clinic in the downstairs of the vet. Her motto is “no dog left behind” and people brought the most aggressive dogs to her to be trained how to behave and relax/enjoy grooming. Dogs that other groomers turned away. She taught horseback riding lessons to kids and grew up owning one hundred free range hens. She grew up with family dogs as well. She has experience with zoo animals and reptiles having completed the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College. She also used to volunteer grooming at the SPCA in Hamilton as well. Corey grew up with dogs in his house his whole life. His favorite breed is Boxer, but he loves all breeds. Corey is very active. He does CrossFit and soccer and loves to run, but he prefers to do so with the company of a pooch, big or small. One day we hope to move to Texas to rescue dogs as there is a bad crisis of overpopulation there. We are also learning Spanish, this way when the funding is there we plan to drive down to Mexico to assist with the overpopulation of dogs and educating people about the importance of spaying/neutering their pets. Corey’s parents own three of the dogs we fostered in the past from Texas. We were both shift workers so we are happy to do crazy drop off/pick up times, being available 24/7 for those on night shifts! Our son is very exposed to dogs seeing as so many come and go, he treats them with respect and if your dog is not comfortable around children we keep them completely separate. Concrete blocks around the edges to avoid any escaping/digging. Our dogs are rescues and are kept separate from boarding dogs! They are lazy and tend to prefer to lounge during the day giving us extra time with your pup. We have a "cat room" and when the dogs are outside playing the cats can roam the home! We rotate dogs/cats all day long when they stay with us to make sure everyone gets an adequate time to play/nap. Our dogs are crate trained but if your dog is well trained we can let them roam the home at night while ours sleep in the "doggie rooms" (bedroom with our son/our bedroom.

About: I have worked at a doggy daycare for over 4 years now and absolutely love all dogs. I have worked with all kinds of dogs. (small, large, well behaved, troubled, and special needs/disabled) I know how to properly handle dogs with different behavioural types. I also have experience giving dogs medications and meeting the expectations of different peoples needs for their dogs. About: Ever since I’ve known, my family has had multiple pets including many dogs. My wife and I have looked after numerous dogs from friends and family and also had a Cockapoo of our own that sadly passed in 2018. I have a lot of patience and willing to have an enjoyable time with any dog I have been retired since 2024 and am looking at filling some of my time looking after dogs and getting some exercise while walking your dog I would safely walk your dog and pu after it and make sure every precaution is taken to keeping your dog safe from other dogs or people if needed

About: I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, I've grown up always having pets in my home. From caring for horses, chickens, ducks and other farm animals, to caring for cats, dogs, fish, turtles and other reptiles. I have experience handling dogs with structured training. I will happily follow whatever training their pet parents are practicing. My 2 Dutchie/Malis are professionally trained by private trainers at Sheild K9 in Puslinch. I'm a community healthcare worker so I don't work long hours. I'm always out and about around all parts of Lincoln, Grimsby, Smithville, Dunnville, Welland, Wainfleet, Lowbanks, Pelham and parts of St. Catherines as well. I can easily fit a visit into my regular work day or I can see them before and/or after I work too. One of the beauties of being a community healthcare worker is I manage my own daily work schedule. I follow the care plans each individual client sets out for their home and pets. You know your pet best and you know what they like, I'm more than happy to follow my clients instructions. I can provide updates, progress notes, and pictures of your pets upon request.
About: For the last 10 years, I have taken care of animals of my own as well as neighbour's and friends. Dog walking and sitting feels as if it’s second nature! As I currently work a flexible schedule, there are times during the week and weekend where I am completely free to walk. Having a companion to walk with would make it even better! I have two dogs and a cat that are all well behaved and completely spoiled. We have a fenced in back yard along with a lower unit that is separate from the other dogs if need be.
