She took the time to explain to us as first timers how the process would go and how she ensures she gives the new puppy 1:1 time with her to get to know her first. About: I grew up on a small hobby farm looking after all different types of animals. But I’ve always had a strong love for dogs. I treat all animals like they are my own, with unconditional love and the best care I can provide. I believe everyone should feel the joy of owning a dog! But of course life gets busy and work can become a priority. So I am more than happy to help those people have the peace of mind while they are away from their pets, that they are getting the love and attention they need! Let me help you give your pet a little extra joy in their day while you are gone, whether it’s an extra walk or just some snuggle time! I currently work from home on our beautiful little hobby farm, so I’ll have plenty of time to play and spend time with your pups! Offering daycare Monday through Friday from 8-5 and overnight boarding any day including weekends & holidays. I have a fenced yard with two separate areas, and two friendly dogs to play with your pups! I am also fully set up with professional style kennels and doggy play room!

About: Hi! I’m Olly! I’ve taken care of dogs for around 6 years. This started with casual dog walks for friends and turned into a passion of learning dog behaviours, needs and joys! Most recently, I have been fortunate to volunteer for the SPCA and provide longer term care for dogs that needed a safe foster home. From senior dogs to 4-week old puppies, I’ve loved every second. I care for dogs alongside my partner, Georgia, and together we know just how important the peace of mind for your pups whilst you are away. Having recently lost our beloved Standard Poodle, we have a lot of love to give and want to extend that into a safe, kind, patient and caring temporary space for your dogs! We are located 15mins outside of Penetanguishene, but also offer pick up/ drop off in Penetanguishene and Midland - just let us know if you would like this! For car journeys, we have a dog hammock on the backseat to provide your pups with a comfy ride! Currently, I am on a flexible, work-from-home schedule! This means there is lots of room for pet care, which we offer Monday through Sunday. We love long and short walks depending on your pups needs and lots of time to play and relax too. Right now we are a pet-fee, child-free, smoke-free home! We have a yard that is currently unfenced but closed in and closely monitored. We offer a long leash for outside time and a XL crate for some quiet inside time if needed. Dogs that are not crate-trained are welcome as well :)

About: I have been taking care of animals of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and species as long as I can remember. I am very cognizant of all the animals in my care and find I can read their cues like a book. I am learning dog training and have worked hard with my dog on his skills. I am no stranger to giving pups medication as well, let me know what your pups needs and I can take care of them as if they were my own! Minor note: extended travel (over 30minute drive), adds the full hour fee for drop ins and walks to account for the kms. I am currently a stay-at-home mom of 1, so I have lots of time and love to give your furry family. We are quite flexible so let us know your needs for care and we will be happy to oblige! We have a large fenced backyard, the dog beach nearby and 2 dog parks not far from our house. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats in the home so we are very familiar with accommodating different personalities and their needs! We can crate pups if they need some space or we have a deck that they can lay on to get some sun.

My experience goes beyond everyday pet ownership. Growing up, I volunteered with the Oakville Humane Society, where I gained experience around animals with different personalities and needs. I also spent several years volunteering with Frontline K9 Manitoba, participating in spay/neuter and vaccination clinics, assisting with basic animal health needs, and supporting rescue and apprehension efforts. One of my greatest learning experiences has been my own dog, Dakota. Dakota is a rescue with a history of dog reactivity, which led me to invest extensively in professional training and learn as much as possible about canine behaviour, body language, triggers and safe handling. I’ve worked closely with trainers and completed multiple training programs with her, giving me hands-on experience managing and supporting a dog with more complex behavioural needs. About: I've been caring for animals for 39 years. Over that time I've lived with and looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, and rats, so I'm comfortable with a wide range of pets and their different personalities and needs. My professional background includes work at animal hospitals, grooming salons, and animal rescues. That experience, along with caring for my own pets, taught me how to deliver caring, loving, and thoughtful care that is also medically aware. I'm comfortable providing medical support, administering medications, and caring for special-needs dogs. In several situations I've been able to recognize the early signs of serious medical emergencies in dogs and respond appropriately. Working in rescue also deepened my understanding of animal behaviour and stress. I know that being away from their person can be hard on pets (and on their owners), so I focus on creating a calm, reassuring environment and keeping communications clear so both of you can feel more at ease. I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm available any time during the week for drop-ins, dog or cat hangouts at my home, or working from your home so your pets can stay in their own familiar space. I am also available weekends as well Just let me know what works for you and your pets! I currently have a pet free home. I do have crates if your pet prefers that or they can cuddle up in bed. Your dog would only be walked on a leash or put out on a very secure, strong cable as I do not have a fenced yard. In your home I would follow any rules and routines you have in place.
