She met with us & our pup on very short notice to ensure we had a chance to get to know her & for our dog, Bria, to meet her. She was great with answering our questions & sent lots of pictures & updates while Bria was with her which was greatly appreciated. Bria is a very anxious little dog & she even ate (more than once) while with Gabrielle & her family; this is HUGE for her. I will book with Gabrielle the next time we need a pet sitter.”

I’m Deanna — animal lover, treat‑giver, walk‑enthusiast, and certified “yes I talk to pets like they’re tiny hairy humans” person. 😄 I’ve had animals my whole life and have looked after pets with all sorts of medical needs. Giving meds? No problem. Special routines? I’m on it. Noticing when your pet is acting a little off? It’s basically my superpower. I’ve raised two puppies from 9 weeks old, so I know all about zoomies, chaos, snuggles, and the “why are you chewing that??” moments. I work part‑time, which means I’ve got flexible availability on weekdays + weekends. I’m also open to overnight stays and weekend pet‑sitting if you need a little getaway. At home I’ve got two cats who are very chill with dogs as long as the dogs aren’t plotting to chase them. For everyone’s safety, I do ask that visiting pets are up to date on flea and tick prevention — gotta keep my furry roommates itch‑free. Your pet will be loved, spoiled, and treated like family. About: I have already babysat numerous cats. From feeding to cleaning litter boxes and everything in between. I can only sit cats in your own home due to allergies and very fragile artwork around the home, but I promise to give them much love and affection.

Rosie has medical issues and so needs meds at very specific times of day and Thomas made sure to let us know that she got them. I would definitely have him cat-sit for is again 😊”

About: It all started with rabbits when I was a 4 year old. My dad bred them and we had well over 60 at one point. I had a pair of baby ducks when I was 8 years old. Then along came my budgie when I was 10. I have a lifelong experience of caring for many different types of pets. In the past I have had rabbits, ducks, a budgie, cockatiels, finches, rats, and aquariums. I took riding lessons as a teen and worked on the horse farm to pay for my lessons. I also have experience with exotic animals as I worked for a short time in a zoo. I have owned 5 dogs. A Husky (who lived to 15), an Australian Shepherd (who passed at age 12 from cancer), a sports mix - Border Collie/Staff/Russel (who passed at 14.5 from CHF), another Australian Shepherd (who passed at 11 from cancer), and I currently have a male Australian Shepherd. I work part time throughout the winter and have a tourism business during the summer. My work schedule is generally 4-6 hour days with a few off during the week. Your pet's care would fit in with my own pet's care. My dog is young and energetic and loves to play with other dogs. We hike most days in the woods surrounding the house. I have a pup who loves other dogs (he would have to come with me for overnight visits). He is playful and affectionate. I have 20 acres of woods to walk in (plus access to my neighbour's trails) and live on a small lake if your dog enjoys swimming. I am very knowledgeable in the care and training of animals, especially dogs and will be taking a first aide course when one comes available. I am very diligent about keeping dogs away from the road and they are always on a leash or longline.

About: I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Prince Edward County, moved away to Alberta for 17 years after completing my agricultural diploma. I’ve been caring for animals since I was in diapers and have extensive knowledge of all sorts of animals! I have now returned to the family farm and am offering up my pet services! I have experience with all ages of animals. I’ve been breeding Olde Boston Bulldogs for 15 years now so am no stranger to puppies! I even offer livestock sitting! Horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, goats you name it ! I myself have a wide range of critters who call the funny farm home. So I’m constantly coming n going looking after my crew and working on a dairy. We have a lovely lane way that we go walking down, the millennial Trail runs through our property too!
