I just moved back to Thunder Bay and would love to meet you and your pets! ☺️I can walk dogs on and off leash and can even teach them a trick or two. I have a house with a fenced yard. Please let me know if your dog is aggressive because I have a small cat and a springer. Don't hesitate to reach out with any requests! I work weekend nights and I'm free all day during the week. I require at least 1 day advance notice but will make exceptions if needed! I walk my own dog daily and take her out multiple times a day ( shes very well house trained and will let me know) I spend a lot of time taking care of our animals whether that's feeding them, training them or just hanging out with them.

I have great joy in helping dogs with a challenging past overcome their obstacles and open up to the world again. I have experience with older dogs that require medication, younger high energy dogs that need more mental stimulus and puppies that require constant redirection and training. I love all dogs. I have a calm approach with dogs which generally makes them quick to accept me and want to be around me even those that tend to be more timid. I currently work at the hospital and I’m in school at Lakehead for nursing. My schedule can be a bit chaotic at times but generally Sunday through Wednesday I have gaps in my day that allow for me to help out. I have a large yard, it is not fenced but dogs with good recall can run around and others I use a long lead so they can enjoy the yard while still being within control.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds and ages for 8 years. Neighbours, family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, train, give medication, and love their pets. I just finished my Social Work degree. I’m currently working part-time as a server, and work a casual job. My schedule is usually pretty open, and I can work with your availability and be flexible as well! I will make sure your dog is on a leash/in a fenced in yard to ensure safety. I can bring your dog to the beach or a park if good off-leash and with other dogs. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: We are a couple with a golden retriever and chocolate lab that love boarding. We know how stressful it is leaving your fur baby home and we are happy to care for your dog knowing that she/he will be like ours and will never be left alone. We adore our fur babies and have catered our vacation schedule dependent on pet sitters and so we understand the importance of feeling the trust that your fur baby is in good hands and will be the only one looking after at all times so you can be totally stress free. Yogi and Choco are certified therapy dogs with St.John's Ambulance and visit various long term care homes in Thunder Bay providing dog therapy. I am home full time so your furry friend will be looking after at all times. I will cater my day around your dog stay and his/her needs. So you can be sure that your dog will be safe, comfortable, well looking after, relaxed and happy. We will do our best between me and my wife to supervise your dog all the time. Except during long boarding when I will do some errands (no more than 2 hours). For safety your dog can be created at that time. We have a large fully fenced backyard to play and chill. We will board and care with one or two dogs from the same family only. If your dogs is needing to be crated for his/her comfort that will be available in our home. Specific dog training can be added to our daily routine.
