About: Both Em and Jac have had dogs their entire lives. Dogs ranging from 5lbs to 100+lbs, and puppy all the way to 16 years old senior dog. Jac has experience training dogs, from basic commands and potty training all the way to reactivity and high prey drive. Em has experience with dogs with separation anxiety, as well she has volunteered with the SPCA shelter. Both Em and Jac have a medical background so dogs with special care needs like medications through injections are not a problem! Jac has also lived and worked on horse farms, helping with grooming, birthing, etc, so a lot of experience around animals! We both work shift work, however we are currently offset. Most days one of us will be home majority of the day, and a few days a month which we overlap night shifts where the dog would be left home alone for 6+hrs (from 4:45pm-1am). These days where we’re both on nights can be discussed beforehand to work something out if your dog requires to be let out more frequently. We have a 50acre property, with a 600m long driveway fenced at the bottom. Private walking trails through the back. A custom built agility course if that’s what your furry friend is into, and we’re constantly adding new obstacles to. There’s a pond if your dog is a swimmer, but plenty of dry ground if they aren’t. We have a room in the house that we keep the dogs in that’s nice and quiet for them, alternatively we have a barn (no livestock, just a rec space) that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter with kennels set up in.

Our dog, Coco, stayed with Zarina for one day, and, we were a bit stressed because Coco is not used to being in someone else's home. Zarina arranged a meet-and-greet the week before, which immediately put us at ease. She was incredibly thorough, asked thoughtful questions about Coco's routine, personality, and needs, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. On the day of drop-off, Coco was nervous and didn't want to stay. Zarina remained calm, patient, and confident, and she knew exactly how to help Coco settle in. There was also another dog in her care that day, which initially made me a little nervous since Coco had never met that dog before. However, Zarina clearly understands dog behavior and personalities and was very intentional about making sure the dogs were a good match. Everything went smoothly, and there were no issues at all. Throughout the day, Zarina kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our event without worrying. Seeing Coco relaxed and comfortable in the updates reassured us that she was in excellent hands. When we picked Coco up, she was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. About: For my whole life, I have always had family dogs. As an adult, I got my own family dog and he’s so loved! Dogs always made me feel save, loved and at peace. As far as safety, I have a fenced yard in my apartment and will never let a pet off-leash especially if your pet does not have any recall. I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.

About: Both Em and Jac have had dogs their entire lives. Dogs ranging from 5lbs to 100+lbs, and puppy all the way to 16 years old senior dog. Jac has experience training dogs, from basic commands and potty training all the way to reactivity and high prey drive. Em has experience with dogs with separation anxiety, as well she has volunteered with the SPCA shelter. Both Em and Jac have a medical background so dogs with special care needs like medications through injections are not a problem! Jac has also lived and worked on horse farms, helping with grooming, birthing, etc, so a lot of experience around animals! We both work shift work, however we are currently offset. Most days one of us will be home majority of the day, and a few days a month which we overlap night shifts where the dog would be left home alone for 6+hrs (from 4:45pm-1am). These days where we’re both on nights can be discussed beforehand to work something out if your dog requires to be let out more frequently. We have a 50acre property, with a 600m long driveway fenced at the bottom. Private walking trails through the back. A custom built agility course if that’s what your furry friend is into, and we’re constantly adding new obstacles to. There’s a pond if your dog is a swimmer, but plenty of dry ground if they aren’t. We have a room in the house that we keep the dogs in that’s nice and quiet for them, alternatively we have a barn (no livestock, just a rec space) that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter with kennels set up in.
