About: I was raised on a farm with numerous animals. I have always had a dog or cat in my life to care for full time. I'm an empty nester & currently working full time. This interests me to fill my time. I'm available 1st thing in the morning or after work. I have a 13 year old large breed dog that enjoys my fenced-in back yard. Each day she gets fresh water in multiple locations, breakfast (including treats) & dinner with supplements. I also have a domestic short haired cat that stays indoors. They get along really great.
“This was my first time using Rover. Hannah was great and made me feel comfort in the fact that my kitty was in safe hands. She was easy to communicate with, professional and overall a pleasure to work with. Would 100% book with her again. Thank you Hannah!”

“This was our first experience using a cat sitter through Rover. We could not have been happier or more reassured that our 2 cats were well cared for in our home. Tracy just knew what we needed and thoughtfully sent us pictures showing “the boys” being very comfortable in her care. One in particular is very cautious with people but Tracy quickly earned his trust and they became friends. Tracy is professional and personable and we really look forward to having her look after our feline family again. Thanks so much, Tracy.”

“Bill was great with our 2 year old cat, Gaia. He was housesitting for us while we were away for a week and made the process smooth and simple the whole way, sending lots of pictures and communicating so well throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter”

“Marilyn saved the day while we were away on our vacation - our kitty sitter was unable to make it and Marilyn stepped in as soon as I contacted her. She went above and beyond, leaving us to enjoy our vacation. I highly recommend Marilyn's reliable services! Thank you!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been the person my family and friends ask to help watch their dog or to just stop by to let them out and feed them. I’m also capable of following a routine if needed and or making my own planned out routine for the dog. Currently I work part time at petsmart as a dog trainer where I teach classes for all breed and ages of dogs, I’m an accredited trainer and I plan to be certified in the future. I have experience with puppies all ages and I am comfortable with giving medication to old dogs if needed. Currently I work part time at petsmart so I have lost of free time during the week to watch, walk or let out your dog if needed. I am available also for routine visits for the same pet. For all of my pets I have kept or taken care of, I have always followed a routine that I am either given or I create on my own to I make sure nothing gets left behind or forgotten. My goal is to ensure i reach your dog’s daily needs for the time that I’m there with them.
“A charming caring lady who will do her best with your cat! My cat liked to hide under the bed, but Kimberly was able to coax her out for socializing and meals. I will definitely be using her again if travelling abroad! 5 stars!”

“Vanessa took excellent care of our cat Meeko while we were away! She went above and beyond to make sure that Meeko had everything she needed, and was very gentle and patient with her; our cat is quite shy, but Vanessa managed to bring her out of her shell quickly, which is an impressive feat! Vanessa was friendly, polite, and communicative all the way through, and we came home to a very healthy and happy kitty! We will definitely be inviting her back next time we go away - highly recommend.”

My first love is animals and making sure they are happy, generally putting their needs before mine. I also have training experience and can help on that level too. Overall, I just want to help keep your pet happy and yourself.. because if your pet isn’t happy .. then I haven’t fulfilled my job and passion for care. I can also care for horses. Feeding, turn out, turn in, blanket changes and all general care. Available on short notice and very flexible. Will travel within reason. Thank you so much for choosing me. Im currently working part time, so I can schedule in time for all the animals! I always give dedicated care to all the animals and make sure they are feeling their best and are happy. About: I have taken care of cats from a young age. Through the years I have also helped with dogs and cats within the same house. And I always love getting to know the unique personality that every cat or any pet has.
About: I'm not as new to professional pet caring now, but I'm constantly learning and I have respect and love for animals. I have cared for pet dog and cat from puppy to old age and I am always learning from experts on how to handle most situations that will arise. I am able to be extremely active and engaging with animals to ensure they are properly stimulated and socialized. I take my job very seriously as a guardian of a pet myself I know that they are as much family as pet. I will always take special care to listen to a pet's guardian's advice on how to care for their pet so that they are properly taken care of as they deserve and expect to be treated. I’m currently self employed and mainly work at night when my dogs are asleep. During the day I am free to look after not only my dogs but also other people’s pets as well. When I’m not working I’m often taking care of my dog’s needs. I follow instructions from pet owners and ask about their pet to find out what kind of care they need. Every dog has its own personality and needs and I do the best to treat them as their owner would treat them so their stay is as comfortable as possible.

About: I completed my first pet sitting booking (10 days) and I was very successful! Not only were the cat and dog happy but the owner came home right after a major snowstorm to mostly shovelled driveway. My clients referred me to a friend! I intend to complete a pet first aid course in the spring. References upon request. Areas: Guelph, Hamilton, Ajax, Port Perry, Oshawa , Whitby, Vancouver Tri-city area, Peterborough, Cottage Country and more. I work from home so all I need is an internet connection! I am not glued to a desk and I like to situate myself where I can keep an eye out and be by the back door. Hour lunch break is playtime and before and after work a walk. I believe in providing for the pet’s normal routine. I keep my belongings and food out of reach and am ready for behaviours that might come up with their family away. Tummy rubs and playtime ease stress. I maintain the litter box daily so it doesn’t get out of hand. I have education in gerontology and earth science. I love older pets and will care for your plants too.

“Jennifer house sat to take care of a new shelter cat I had recently adopted. Ruby was extremely shy and I appreciated Jennifer's patience. When I got home, Ruby and I picked up where we left off so I know she was well treated.”

“Our Lucy was SOOOO excited to see Carlayne again! She always has so much fun! What a great feeling to know when you have to leave your pet that they’re having a great day too!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and grew up surrounded by dogs my entire life. Over the years, I’ve also cared for a chameleon, hamster, and ferret, which gave me experience with a wide range of pet needs and personalities. I adopted my dog Maia 3 years ago, and she’s full of energy with a big personality, which has taught me a lot about active dogs, structure, and keeping playtime both fun and safe. I also adopted my cat when I was 20. She was very feisty, and no one else wanted to handle her, but I built a strong bond with her over time. We also went through a lot together, including managing her diabetes, so I’m very comfortable and experienced with giving medication and administering insulin injections when needed. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I always aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so every animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away❤️ Pet care is already a natural part of my daily life. I'm currently working remote so my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m also experienced with more specific care, including administering medication and injections when needed, so I’m comfortable adjusting routines based on each pet’s requirements. Overall, I’m very organized and flexible, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my everyday routine rather than it feeling like an extra task. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and kept in a calm, safe, and structured environment. I have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can run, play, and get energy out safely, along with regular walks and supervised outdoor time. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special care instructions. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment.
“Kimberly was great and Harley was very welcoming. The vibe felt good for dogs to be around. Unfortunately, Nala got into a fight with Harley (for the first time in years of multiple day care visits and boardings). We picked Nala up right away. Kimberly said Nala was a very sweet girl. On behalf of Naka we are veey sorry that happened.”

“Andrea was great with Venus. This is the first time I had her at doggy daycare and I was a little worried but Andrea was calm and relaxed and even sent me photos of Venus showing she was having fun. I’ve already booked Venus’s next visit with her. I would highly recommend Andrea!!!!”

“Julianne takes this job seriously. She doesn't just provide basic needs; she spends time playing and cuddling the dogs. I enjoyed a stress-free day out because of the photos and videos Julianne sent. I knew my dog was getting loads of attention and love.”

“Victoria and Matt have been wonderful with Callie. They are phenomenal dog sitters and we will continue to use them. Callie’s days were filled with snuggles, adventures, and many activities. Thank you Victoria and Matt for all the love and care you demonstrated to Callie. With gratitude, Patricia and Lauren”

“Hanna was very sweet with Coco Bean. We appreciated the photo updates during the day which showed our girl having fun and settling in at Hanna's house. Would be happy to book again!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. They aren't just pets though, they are part of the family! We currently have a 2 year old black lab/boxer. I always want the best for my dog and I know you do too! I am currently retired and home all day every day! Your dogs will never be alone. In fact, I love taking them for walks through the forest and playing with them in the backyard! My dog has the run of the house and is allowed everywhere in the house and the backyard is entirely fenced in. They are allowed to go in and out on their own as much as they want to!

“This was our first time leaving Cuddles for day care and Samantha put us at ease from the first moment during our meet up. She's very experienced so she's very calm, confident and reassuring. She's so nice that Cuddles, our normally clingy doggy, followed her without looking back on the first day. She also has a cute doggy Miko who is an absolute sweetheart. We 100% recommend her because she's amazing!”

“It was love at first sight for our Akita, Moka, when she met Marilyn. Although generally friendly, Moka is typically aloof with new people. However it was like she’d known Marilyn for years when they met, and she clearly enjoyed their nature walks while we were away. Even though we are back, I’m thinking I’ll need to at least do a weekly walk, so that Moka can see her new best friend!”

“Mike was great to deal with with proper handling of our young golden retriever. Was on time, even in the rain and was a big help on short notice when we needed it. Will be back for more walks in the future”

About: Hi there! thanks for checking out my profile. Happy to have you here. I will leave a brief but detailed synopsis about myself and my experience working with pets. My goal is to help you make an informed decision regarding your pet's stay while you are away. My name is Vee. I am a university student full of vibrant energy and a love for pets. I have five years of documented experience in pet sitting. I have had pets of all sorts and breed under my care. Domestic pets such as cats, dogs, birds, horses and reptiles I have attended to. I am well vexed in this field as I volunteered with an animal shelter catering to older pets. I loved it! I am certified in CPR for pets should an emergency arise. I take pride in my vigilance and accessibility. I am a student of life and love to learn as much as I can and build amazing friendships with pet owners while taking great care of their pets! I would also like to describe myself as trustworthy. I am organized and my love for pets shows in various aspects. I have excellent multitasking and communication skills. I am also really good at recalling names. Cruelty-free enthusiast. Can’t wait to meet you and start taking care of these amazing pets! Thank you for trusting me to care for your babies while you take a well-deserved break 😊 I am available all year round to accept bookings and do my best to respond to bookings in a timely manner. I aim to be the best sitter I can be and strive for perfection each stay. I do not overcharge for stays and my low prices for stays are deliberate. I do this for the company as I enjoy having pets around while I study. It's a win-win. I formulated a couple of games to occupy and tire out your pet for the entirety of their stay. I will send photos of the entirety of the stay and keep in touch so you have peace of mind. I have spare toys in my care also, but always recommend bringing your own. I have had pets with severe anxiety and having a piece of home, be it a blanket or toys that smell like home helps a ton. As far as safety, I have a fenced yard in my apartment and will never let a pet off-leash especially if your pet does not have any recall. I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.
About: I have worked as a vet assistant for about 6 years, and during those years I have learned so much about training dogs, how dogs temperament work, there behavior and most importantly how to create a special bond with them. I also have worked in a doggy day care for 3 years and that's really where I developed my passion for dogs, and the reason to start my own business with them. While working at a doggy day care that’s when I also learned all of my skills because i have delt with all type of needs and breeds of dogs for instance I have developed knowledge on how to read Dogs behaviors, learn there temperaments, learn how to create a grate bond with dogs that have anxiety, or serve behavior issues or that are simply just scared. I have a huge passion for animals and what sets me apart from other sitters is that I just don't offer pet services just for money I take pride in what I do and make sure that I have all the information that I need to know for me to create a safe and happy space for your pets. It means a lot to me if the customers develop a healthy partnership that is based on 100 percent trust and transparency, I have a special bond with each and every single dog that are big or small, feel safe with me, and most importantly do a assessment with them in order for me to know if I have enough ability to provide the dogs with the proper needs that they need for me to do my job properly and safely, and that the dogs aren’t stressed or not happy. Before taking on any dogs on my case load I require to meet the owners first and ask questions so i can have a better understanding of what kind of services that there dogs need, then I require to do a meet and greet with there dog and do a assessment bye taking them on a walk and see if its a good match for not only the myself but most importantly the dog. Currently I have my own business of 5 years and recently I have taken some time off to work on getting my business registered and making a plan for my new website that i want to create, so because of this my schedule is completely open and flexible. If I would be taking care of the dogs at my house then I have half an acre of semi fenced in backyard so they would have lots of room to run and play. However if the owners don't feel safe or comfortable with the fact that my backyard is half fenced or if there dog doesn't get along with other animals then i could always bring them for a walk alone. Inside my house I would have the dogs in my spacious basement that is open concept, and all the cleaning supplies are stored in a separate room away from the dogs, also all wires would be in a special zip lock ties that are safe for dogs. I have a spray that i can use on the wires that prevent dogs from chewing on the wires. I also have a large crate that i can use if needed, plan to get more.
