She looked after two of my dogs, a large “mastiff x american bulldog” and her tiny companion “chihuahua x min. pinscher” with no issues at all. Dale has a calm, easy going disposition that any animal would feel completely comfortable around. For first timers, she likes to meet the pets in advance, which is fantastic (especially for dogs) and you’ll know from that first meeting you’ll be in good hands with no worry at all. I received daily texts, photos and updates on the dogs, how they were adjusting, eating and sleeping. Her and her husband were very flexible with the dogs routines, ensuring that their overall needs for comfort and mental health were met - because all dogs become a little stressed when they’re left by their owners for a week or two. After the first two days, both dogs were like putty in her hands. Dale has a great connection with animals and has the foresight to read between the lines on meeting their personal needs. She is a keeper in my books, and anyone who is able to book her, you are in VERY good hands!”

One of my older babies, Bailey, struggles with constipation and usually won’t poop normally when I’m away due to stress. Sometimes we have to give her special medication to help her, and she can be fussy about taking it. Tanya handled the situation so well. I honestly don’t even know how to thank her enough. About: I love and adore animals. I have two cockapoos. One is 11 years old and one is almost 3! One day, I like to own a sanctuary and rescue animals that are in need. I am loving and caring and treat all animals like family. I work from home, so have the ability to provide frequent potty breaks, if need be, and I take mini breaks to play with my doggies. Fetch, a short walk, tricks or treats and lots of cuddles - not because it's for them, it is actually for me to get some comforting cuddles! ;) Anway, give me a try and you can judge for yourself or the fur babies can! Over the years my family has had Cocker Spaniels, Chocolate Labs, Weimaraners, and even a Great Dane! Seven years ago I adopted a Mini Dachshund full of love, and stubbornness, who taught me the importance of proper training! Last year when she suffered an IVDD set back. I learnt about a whole new level of care, from bladder expression to wheelchair use. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to keep your dogs happy and healthy! I work as a freelance writer, so have an amazingly flexible schedule that will allow me to find the perfect time to come hag out with your pet! Primarily looking to come drop in or take your dog for a walk in your neighbourhood. But I do I live on a large farm with over a km of walking trails if you want me to pick them up and take them on a outdoor adventure! I have a special needs dog, but if your dogs temperament is the right fit. I’d be happy to have them in my home for day care or overnights.
About: Dogs and puppies are my passion! I dreamed of working with dogs as a little girl and now that is my reality! I have been working with dogs for about 18 years now. I have worked and trained many puppies as well as rescue dogs. I have worked in kennels and doggy daycares, with the pups as well as managing. I have also volunteered for humane societies and fostered rescue dogs. I was on the dog team at the alliston humane society for many years. I work from home so I am mostly at home, other than running errands and attending a few programs throughout the week. Typically I wouldn’t be out of the house for more than a few hours at one time. About: I have been taking care of animals of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and species as long as I can remember. I am very cognizant of all the animals in my care and find I can read their cues like a book. I am learning dog training and have worked hard with my dog on his skills. I am no stranger to giving pups medication as well, let me know what your pups needs and I can take care of them as if they were my own! We have a large fenced backyard, the dog beach nearby and 2 dog parks not far from our house. About: Despite having been bit as a child, I have always loved dogs of all sizes. I grew up with a large rottweiler and now have 2 small dogs that I adore I am currently in university throughout the week but have wednesdays off. I work part time some afternoons but have many evenings free along with days on weekends and wednesdays. I love taking my dogs for walks around the block and seeing their tails wag. I use these walks as an excuse to listen to some music in one ear and get some extra steps in.

She looked after two of my dogs, a large “mastiff x american bulldog” and her tiny companion “chihuahua x min. pinscher” with no issues at all. Dale has a calm, easy going disposition that any animal would feel completely comfortable around. For first timers, she likes to meet the pets in advance, which is fantastic (especially for dogs) and you’ll know from that first meeting you’ll be in good hands with no worry at all. I received daily texts, photos and updates on the dogs, how they were adjusting, eating and sleeping. Her and her husband were very flexible with the dogs routines, ensuring that their overall needs for comfort and mental health were met - because all dogs become a little stressed when they’re left by their owners for a week or two.
