“Tanya was absolutely amazing! We were away for a week, and I felt completely comfortable knowing she was taking care of my three cats with as much love and attention as I do. One of my older babies, Bailey, struggles with constipation and usually won’t poop normally when I’m away due to stress. Sometimes we have to give her special medication to help her, and she can be fussy about taking it. Tanya handled the situation so well. I honestly don’t even know how to thank her enough. She gave her the necessary medication, monitored her closely to make sure she was pooping again, and even arrived earlier on some days just to ensure everything was okay with my kitties. I felt so relaxed knowing she was the one caring for them, and I was truly able to enjoy my vacation. She is incredible, and I will absolutely continue using her services going forward!”

Although I have more experience with larger dogs, I have dog sat and taken care of many smaller breeds, such as a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier, Shitzu, Pug, and Bichon Frise. Over the years my family has had Cocker Spaniels, Chocolate Labs, Weimaraners, and even a Great Dane! Seven years ago I adopted a Mini Dachshund full of love, and stubbornness, who taught me the importance of proper training! Last year when she suffered an IVDD set back. I learnt about a whole new level of care, from bladder expression to wheelchair use. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to keep your dogs happy and healthy! I work as a freelance writer, so have an amazingly flexible schedule that will allow me to find the perfect time to come hag out with your pet! Primarily looking to come drop in or take your dog for a walk in your neighbourhood. But I do I live on a large farm with over a km of walking trails if you want me to pick them up and take them on a outdoor adventure! We have a large fenced backyard, the dog beach nearby and 2 dog parks not far from our house. We have 1 dog and 3 cats in the home so we are very familiar with accommodating different personalities and their needs! We can crate pups if they need some space or we have a deck that they can lay on to get some sun.

About: Despite having been bit as a child, I have always loved dogs of all sizes. I grew up with a large rottweiler and now have 2 small dogs that I adore I am currently in university throughout the week but have wednesdays off. I work part time some afternoons but have many evenings free along with days on weekends and wednesdays. I love taking my dogs for walks around the block and seeing their tails wag. I use these walks as an excuse to listen to some music in one ear and get some extra steps in.
