“Joel absolutely lights up when he is near cats and dogs. It's like he was meant for being with them because of the joy he radiates when around them. He often goes to the animal shelter to just hang out with the animals. I've taken him there a few times at his urging over the years as well as his urging me to take him to pet stores where we can see and pet other animals. Unfortunately, his Dad was so allergic that Joel couldn't have pets at home growing up. When Joel lived with his Mom, (his parents are divorced) he had the opportunity to form close and loving bonds with the dogs and cats they owned. Now that he is an adult and away from home, he can fulfill this interest and I really hope he does. It would benefit him and benefit the animals greatly as they would be safe and secure and have fun together and be cared for very dearly.”
