Needless to say that when the day, or should I say night, came we were more than a little apprehensive. We looked within our friends’ circle first hoping to find a home that would not be strange to our dog but no opportunity manifested. We then found the Rover app and after reading MANY reviews, we came upon Linus’ Pawradise. After an initial meet and greet, we felt that all the amazingly positive reviews were most likely all sincere. Linus is a warm, caring man whose love and empathy for dogs shone through. Beyond that, he takes his role very seriously. He has created a safe environment where dogs can feel secure and have plenty of play time. He’s very knowledgeable and asks all the right questions to enable him to provide the best service possible. While we were away we received regular updates which was very reassuring to us. What a wonderful experience. We will not hesitate to avail ourselves of his services again. As a side not for those who may live a bit further away, we live 40 minutes away by car from Linus’ Pawradise and we can tell you it is worth the extra mile! Linus has a wonderful, safe , and secure environment in the countryside that your dog will adore! Thank you Linus for taking good care of our little one! (and easing our separation anxieties! Lol).”

About: I have owned dogs all my life, from small breads to large breeds. I have always had a passion for dogs, they just make life so much better! As a child I spend every summer on a small farm that belonged to my grandparents. My parents always had pets (mostly dogs), so I grew up among them. I have taken care of pets since I was a small child. I’m a Registered Massage Therapist. I work part time at a wellness clinic so I’m at home a lot. My husband shares the responsibility of taking care for our pups, and since he also works only at home, we never leave our dog alone in the house for more then 4h. We love pets and presently we have few of them in the house. We have 2 dogs (named Madame Curie and Rita Levi), 2 cats (Einstein and Darwin). I take my dogs for minimum 3 walks per day but often they gets as many as 5 or occasionally 6 walks per day and lots of plays outside if the weather is nice. For the last 8 years I sometimes take care (in my home) of freind’s Dog while she is away on vacations. I also take care of few cats (in their homes) while the parents are away. I’m currently working part time and I’m available for boarding from Friday until Tuesday, so I have plenty of time to play with the pups. I recently moved and I do not have fanced yard anymore, however I have over 15 acres of property for the pups to run on. I’m also far away from the road,my driveway is over 300 meters long.

About: Growing up, my family and I always had small dogs. I myself am a lover of animals, especially the little ones. I was a breeder of tea cup Yorkie”s in my younger adult years, they went everywhere I walked or drove. Since their passing a few years back, I now have a yellow lab and love big dogs as well ;) I am now ready and interested in caring for other pets. My husband and I have a 11 and 14 year old daughters who love all animals as well so they would have to be kid friendly. We welcome puppies, small dogs, and cats as well. We are willing to give baths, daily brushing, go for nature walks at park near by so they get lots of fresh air and exercise. Our home also is on a large 2 1/2 acres land so lots of space for play. About: I have owned dogs all my life, from small breads to large breeds. I have always had a passion for dogs, they just make life so much better! I have looked after several dogs for friends and family and would like to extend my love for dogs to my community. I have a yard, dog toys, dog beds and dog bowls. I will only take 1 dog at a time or multiple dogs from the same family. I have a tenant downstairs, so I am unable to take excessive barkers. All dogs in my care must be great with children :) I am a mom of two and work a fully remote job. I am home almost all day, every day. I have a yard for your dog(s) to get their zoomies out :) I will treat your pet like they are my own. I will provide lots of love, cuddles and play. I know every dog has their own personality and I will be patient and respect their limits to make them as comfortable as possible

About: With 10+ years of personal animal care experience ranging from everything to dogs and cats all the way to farm animals and whole rabbitries I've been apart of it all! My childhood years were spent looking after dogs, cats, frogs, fish, hamsters, rabbits and just about everything else! My work keeps me flexible throughout the week with Tuesday and Friday nights from 7-9pm and Sundays from 9am to 1pm being my only for sure "away" hours. During the days I'm able to do a lot of work from home to keep your dog company and have a 2024 Chevy Trax SUV in which I can transport and do FREE pickups with 24hr advance notice. I live on a 15 acre country farm property that includes a 1km wooded backyard walking trail and a spacious fenced (electric) backyard homed to our friendly resident goats 🐐My house is a small one bedroom cottage house but perfect to host one large dog or two medium sized! All dogs will remain on leash unless specified otherwise from owner.

She sent regular updates with photos and stories about their day, made sure my kitties adjusted to hers before freely combining them, and genuinely treated my cats like they were her own. It is very clear that she prioritizes the kitties’ best interests and is careful to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible the entire time. I had complete confidence their whole visit and could easily tell both through what was shared during the visit and the kitties’ behaviour afterwards that they had an awesome time. About: We have grown up around dogs our whole life. We have had years of experience taking care of dogs with all sorts of temperaments and activity levels. As shift workers we definitely prioritize our animals and ensure they have ample play time and potty breaks. Our dogs receive a minimum of 1 hr of physical exercise per day. As the days get warmer we spend the majority of the day outside. Our availability reflects the days we are off of work and can spend the entire day caring for your pups! We have two sheepdog/border collie mix dogs who are very active and are very welcoming to any new animal that comes into our home! We will separate all animals for meal times to avoid any issues with food guarding. All dogs will have the ability to roam around the house and our fenced yard freely with supervision.
