About: J’ai toujours eu des animaux depuis ma jeunesse. I am a very passionnate and caring person with animals since I am a kid. I had all kind of animals in my life: dogs small and large, cats, parrots, budgies rabbits and fish. I have been rescuing homeless puppies and dogs while working in the arctic between 1999 and 2002. I understand dogs behavior and I know a lot about pet first aid and different diseases and symptoms. I have a very calming energy with pets, I understand them and make sure they are always comfortable. I live in the Montérégie area, about 35 min drive from Montreal . About: I have taken care of dogs, bunnies, cats, for 10+ years. My strength has been in caring for animals with anxiety, nervousness, or shyness, and bringing them comfort and a positive environment. I am very good at reinforcing training for the young ones to provide them consistency and stability in their routine. I am gifted in reading animals and having a lot of patience, and a great passion for them. This allows me to connect with them really effectively and be able to create a safe and loving experience for your fur babies! Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I work full‑time as an operations manager from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the day for walks, check‑ins, playtime, and just being present. I’m not rushing in and out between commitments—your pet gets real attention worked into my day, not squeezed in as an afterthought. I used to dog sit in my own home and absolutely loved it, but after moving, my landlord no longer allows pets. Continuing to care for animals in clients’ homes is my way of keeping that connection I genuinely miss. Spending time with pets is something I want to do, not just something I’m fitting in. Because my schedule is flexible, I can adapt to your pet’s needs—whether that’s midday walks, medication timing, extra companionship during the workday, or sticking closely to an established routine. It ends up feeling very natural and consistent for them, which I know makes a big difference. For me, pet care is a grounding, enjoyable part of my week—and for your pet, it means calm, reliable care from someone who truly enjoys being there! When I care for pets in your home, I treat it like it’s their space and their routine, not just a place I’m visiting. I stick closely to your instructions—feeding schedules, walk times, meds, house rules—so everything feels as normal as possible for them. I make sure they get plenty of attention, play, and comfort, whether that means active time or just being a calm, reassuring presence nearby. I’m respectful of your home, keep things clean and tidy, and always prioritize safety (doors secure, leashes on, food stored properly). I also love sending updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel totally at ease while you’re away. My goal is simple: your pet feels relaxed and well cared for, and you come home to a happy animal and a home just the way you left it.
About: I have had pets since childhood, I have had dogs, cats, ducks, sheep, parrots and I know how to take care of them well. Even now, I have two dogs, very active and healthy, who have been with me since they were two months old, one is 12 years old and the other is 9 years old Every day and every night on all days of the week on all official and unofficial holidays and weekends To walk, maintain and feed I'm ready Because I love animals and I have had many animals myself and I know how much animal owners depend on their animals and how important and serious it is for them to take care of them, so I will take care of them in the best possible way.
About: I believe animals are always communicating with us, and I approach pet care by listening first and responding with patience and care. I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)
“Florence was so good with Pancho! She asked questions about his routine, gave me really detailed updates after she left. She started to develop a nice relationship with him after just a few visits. Will definately keep contacting her for Pancho’s visits and walks. I know he is in great hands!”

About: Ive been fortunate to have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals at my parents rehabilitation center. I volunteered for the SPCA as a trained dog-walker for close to a decade and am unfazed by any behavioural /aggressive traits as I’ve fostered a range of rescues and owned seniors throughout my 20s. Please ask me any questions about the experience you’re searching for :) I’ve recently finished my graduate studies and work remotely part-time. My partner and I take care of our senior dog (12) so I am happy to house sit or provide drop ins/walks anytime. My schedule is flexible, let’s chat about what your and your pets’ needs are! Fenced in yard, spotless house so they won’t get into anything, and constant company :) I’m responsible but easy going, let me know your rules and I’ll follow them to keep your pet comfortable and on schedule
“Valérie a été super ! Très à l'écoute, attentionnée et réactive ! Les chats l'ont vite adopté ! Nous avions des nouvelles et photos de nos bébés tous les jours, ce qui a été très rassurants pour nous. Merci beaucoup !”
