“It was our first time using Rover, and Arleene was an amazing host to our little man, Max. She was very knowledgeable, reliable, understanding, a great communicator, and a clear animal lover. From the start, she was incredibly flexible and understanding with pickup and drop-off times. We had initially booked for 8 days, but our return flight was cancelled and we had to extend Max’s stay by one more day. Arleene was thankfully available and accepted our last-minute request, which helped us tremendously—we didn’t have to worry about our fur baby during an already stressful time. Arleene provided detailed daily updates, including Max’s feeding and water intake, litter usage, and general behaviour. She was very attentive to his needs and helped him adjust as smoothly as possible and at his own pace. For example, she noticed that Max was easily scared by noises in the living room, so she prepared a smaller, quieter room where he could hide if needed. In addition to the updates, she sent multiple pictures and videos—even within an hour of dropping him off—which really reassured us that he was in excellent hands. Arleene followed all of Max’s care instructions, and although he is very skittish, he became comfortable with her in just a day or so. That alone shows how warm and attentive her care truly is. Arleene cared for Max as if he were her own, and we would 100% book her again for our next vacation. We highly recommend her to all pawrents who want excellent care for their fur babies! 😊”

Stacey sent tons of photos and videos, so I got to see the adventures Juniper was having on her huge, fenced property and hanging out with a couple of new pup friends. I can’t compare her to other boarding places since this was our first time, but honestly, I feel like what she offers is truly wonderful. Enjoyed going for walks, camping and not ready to get new pets but would enjoy a having a dog to go on walks with again. I have a flexible schedule, so can fit in walks and play. Weekends we tend to go camping but have a permanent site that is dog friendly and a great place to explore. No pets, yard is not fenced so outside time would be leashed and supervised. I have lots of experience of handling dogs of all different breeds/sizes/ages because I often dog sit for family and friends. I still live with my family so our dogs get full attention around the clock. We all work different schedules so our dogs often get multiple walks a day which they love! We really prioritize their health and well-being so we try to walk them as much as possible. We don’t have a fenced yard but live on 7 acres of forested land and don’t live anywhere near busy roads or highways. About: I have worked a lot with puppies. In obedience training using positive reinforcement only! I can handle big and small dogs and will make sure my pup gets along with yours before walking them together. However she gets along with most dogs. I spend most of my days making sure my girl has lots of exercise. She LOVES other dogs and is a very submissive playful girl. This is the main reason for my downloading this app. My dog needs friends. Haha! My pup will keep your pup company and there will be lots of trail walks if it’s suits your pup. Whatever your pups needs really. I’m a firm believer in allowing dogs to have “their time” if they want to sniff, they can sniff, or if they want to play or swim. This is their time to find their happy place. Of course with supervision.

About: I have had my own pets since I was a kid and as I got older I got involved in rescue! I lived in the north for 6 years and rescued over 80 dogs while I was there :) I have fostered and cared for dogs of all ages, my own dogs are very used to having friends and they love it :) I current work full-time during the week and am able to board dogs on weekends. During the week I am able to walk dogs and do home visits to let doggos out to pee. I have a fully-fenced yard as well as a 5 acre property and lots of space indoors as well if I am boarding your pet.
