About: I’ve had cats my entire life, even a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily. So I’m well versed in special needs for animals. I’ve also had a German shepherd now for 4 years who is highly energetic and requires lots of mental stimulation. I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. I take my dog for a 20-30minute walk every morning and evening. I am away for 8 hours during the day, so house-trained or crate-trained is a must. I love providing enrichment activities during the day while I am gone. I have a loving dog and cat to keep your animals company. We also live less than 5 minutes from a dog park and walking trails so I can ensure your animals get plenty of exercise. I can easily crate your dog, or give them their own space in the house if needed.

From diabetic cats, to ones in kidney failure requiring daily IV fluids, giving various medications, cats with behavioral issues, and everything in between. Our oldest cat (a Manx) lived to 19.5 years old. Not a stranger to keeping litterboxes in tip top shape. Also extremely keen on various types of enrichment to keep them from getting bored. And of course, all the cuddles As the owner of Manitoba's ONLY small animal rescue charity, I also have a wealth of knowledge and experience with exotic and small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more!
