About: I own a cat and a dog. My cat's name is Jac and is a domestic longhair. I got him at a shelter when he was two months old and now he is seven years old, living with my parents in China. My dog is a mini australian sheperd. Her name is Bird. I got her when she was also two months old, and now she is almost four. I trained Bird all by myself. She knows a bunch of tricks and is very socially adaptive. I have also had experiences taking care of friends' dogs both as a house sitter and their dogs at my place. I have been working remotely since completing my master's degree in 2020. So I almost spent all day with Bird unless I was on vacation, in which case I would have a friend to look after her. I have been living in NJ and NY, US for the past four years, and have two friends who travels regularly for work. I have been the go-to sitter for their pets. I bring Bird to their home and stay with their dogs. I also have friends bringing their dogs to my apartment when they go on weekend trips, work trips, or long vacations. I have taken care for dogs in all sizes and respect all kinds of needs for different pet, such as medications, meal preparation, walking, brushing, etc. I own more than 30 plants at my apartment, and I have also been taking care of friends' plants when they are away. I know very well how much and when to water. I have travelled to more than 10 countries and I use Airbnb all the time. If it's a house sit, I can make sure your plants and home will be well-cared for. I have been a freelance education counselor since graduating from my master's program in 2020, and I have been taking a gap year starting the summer of 2024 to pursue my aspiration in art and traveling around. I enjoy a life of remote working and am used to a digital nomad lifestyle, which means I don't have a fixed schedule for work or any other errands. I could dedicate all of my attention to the need of your fur babies! I am interested in animals, plants, art, reading, travelling, workout, food, and learning everything I don't know before. I am a very curious person and believe in life-long learning. For the past year and a half I have been focusing more seriously on art. I do glassmaking, ceramics, Chinese traditional painting, henna, etc. I am exploring the possibility of pursuing art professionally by becoming a self-taught artist. Hence my time is very flexible and a customized time schedule is of no problem. I could customize my schedule to meet their specific feeding, walking, playtime, or medical needs.
