About: Hi! I've been an animal lover my whole life with a particular love for dogs. I've been caring for my friends' pets for years and then started getting requests from some of their friends, and since I love it and found myself in a position where I need to find some more work, I figured I'd make myself available to more fur babies! I'm really only interested in caring for dogs, though I do love cats too, but there are allergies to contend with. I'm without any animals living here, so your dog can get undivided and attention. I'm happy to have them stay here, take them on frequent walks, and I can offer to work on some basic training skills if you like. I'm also available to walk from your place or just do drop-ins to give them some love! If you need someone to care for and spend some time with your pup, let me know! I'm working on a flexible schedule and often work from home, so I can dedicate my time around the needs of your fur baby. We can discuss your specific needs and make sure it all works. I have no other pets to worry about. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I live in a quiet neighborhood with time for frequent walks. I'm happy to bring your pup to the dog park if you prefer but I typically prefer to take on frequent long walks (if they are able). And for socialization, I have friends with well socialized neutral non-reactive dogs in fenced in yards for playtime (if you like).

About: Have extensive experience with raising cats and dogs, am comfortable in other peoples homes and keep it neat and tidy. I have raised a Boxer, helped train a golden doodle, cared for elderly greyhounds with hip problems, fostered a Mini Pincer with PTSD with aggression to other dogs. Among many others! I know how to speak to them in a serious tone, to correct them, and then immediately give them a way to repair. (Example, no pulling on the leash, NO! Sit down, give paw, Good dog! ) -This would obviously be tailored to each pet according to their needs and training level. I care for more than just their needs, I take an interest in their interests, and emotional wellbeing. I work from a distance, and make my own schedule therefore I am very flexible. I also have a place with a fenced in backyard for having animals visit my home as well. Consistency is everything with dogs! I am loving and firm. I get to know what is acceptable behavior of the animal according to their parents, and reinforce this training while they are away. If the dog needs cuddles, quiet and down time, then lets get some comfy blankets and cuddle up with a book! If they need to walk / run a lot we can go on urban hikes or to the dog park. If an animal is visiting my home I make sure its completely baby proofed, and owners re more than welcome to inspect my space in advance or on arrival! If they prefer to have a space to hide to feel safe I can create that under my bed or in a closet, with pleasure.

About: I have had doggies my whole life and since my last darling passed, I have been a foster Mom and boarder to many! I adore doggies and have a huge yard and heart to match! I support many online charities that save and care for refuge doggies! I was also a caregiver for my senior Mom in her latter years, so patience and love come naturally to me. I am retired so home all day and love having doggies to share the house! I also share the house with a friend so we are both available for walkings etc. I have a huge yard that is partially fenced-in to allow doggies to run and "do their business" throughout the day outside of regular walk times.
