“Emma only came for a meet and greet. Marley took to her very quickly. I will be using Emma in the future:)”
2. Georgia W.
About: I’ve had dogs in my house for over 10 years, as well as cats. I’m a big animal person and I also have experience on farms and with horses. I have a fairly flexible work schedule depending on the week, and I am available all evenings and most mornings, as well as on weekends. I treat all pets as if they were my own and respect clients' requests and needs for their pets. If I’m unsure of a situation I’d much rather ask the owner than assume! I also am happy to send daily updates and photos of your pets throughout my stay.
3. Jacky S.
“I needed someone I could trust to come and let my dog out for a pee break and give him a bit of exercise on a day I'd be away longer than usual. Jacky was great. She show'd up on time, let me know what was going on and even sent a photo of them on a walk. Highly recommend Jacky!”
4. Mikayla R.
“Mikayla is amazing with animals. She’s kind, dedicated and emphasizes treating your dog like one of her own (which is like Royalty). Mikayla is an innately caring person and it’s shown in her interactions with animals. My dogs absolutely love Mikayla and when they’re with her, I feel at ease knowing my babies are in good hands.”
5. Patricia C.
“Patricia is very good with pets and animals in general. She loves pets and treats them very well. I would let her sit my pets anytime”
6. Richard G.
“I have known Richard for several years. He has always been an animal lover. He treats my dog and cat as if they were his own and they are always overjoyed to see him. He always pays attention to other people’s pets and spoils his own.”
7. Carlene G.
“I am happy to recommend Carlene as a house and pet sitter. We were away for 10 days in February, and living in rural Prince Edward Island, our winters can be rough with blizzards and, on occasion, days-long power outages. Carlene’s calm manner and background as a wilderness guide made me feel completely confident that she could deal with anything should it arise. We left her with two dogs and two cats. One of the dogs, Ruthie, was recovering from a health problem and required medication and a special diet. Ruthie loves her food and especially the food of the other dog, who is a picky eater, so Carlene had to manage that situation. The dogs are both young and active and Carlene took them on daily hikes. Judging by photos of them curled up cuddling on either side of Carlene, they were kept tired and happy. As an unexpected bonus, we arrived home to a sparkling clean house, with thriving plants, a freshly made bed, a note detailing their adventures, and even a delicious soup ready for our dinner. Carlene is a lovely and interesting person with an obvious love of animals and nature. I always find it nerve-wracking to plan our animals’ care when we go away and am so glad to have found her. I would not hesitate to ask Carlene to house and petsit another time, knowing that I could enjoy myself without worry.”
8. Miq G.
About: I am relatively new to caring for dogs but I have a way with animals and have taken care of cats for more than half my life. I am kind, detail-oriented, meticulous, and observant. I love dogs and am happy to give them loving attention and care when you cannot be there. I have experience with young, old, sick, and playful pets. I manage properties so I am used to making multiple stops a day to different locations. I am in recovery from an injury so I have a varied schedule and generally open availability for as-hoc appointments. I am very trustworthy and have always prided myself on having integrity. I am a property manager by trade so I know how to respect other’s homes, privacy, and ensure security is maintained.
