“Another great experience with Emma :) Luke loves spending time with Emma her dogs! He’s always so tired after his plays with them. Emma updated me pictures to show me how much fun he was having. 100% would recommend her. I’ll be booking with her again.”

About: For some time now I have been watching both my close friend's three cats and dog while she is away or out of town for something. One of her cats had diabetes and required insulin shots every 12 hours and on a strict diets, as well as her two other cats as one cannot have fish and the other chicken. I have always done a great job of ensuring all their needs are met and that her dog is walked, fed and happily had the attention he needs with her away. I have also been watching my brother's black lab when he is away for work for weeks at a time. He is a high energy dog and usually forgets his size. I make sure he gets the exercise he needs as well as being fed, having water and attention. On top of both of both these experience caring for pets while people are away, I love knowing your animal will get the exercise as well as love and affection they crave while you are away.

About: I’ve been dog obsessed my entire life! Not only do I love dogs, I worked as a Professional Dog Walker for a company in Toronto for four years! There I learned about different behaviours, personalities and how to interact and communicate properly with different dogs. I have years of experience boarding dogs in my home and in others. I am very capable and was required to walk up to 7 dogs on leash and off in various hiking trails around the city. Not only do I treat others dogs with the same love and respect as my own. I become friends with them, I rely on my bond with the dogs to better their attention and obedience towards myself. Before becoming a Dog Walker I worked at a large boarding kennel. There I gained my experience with dogs that required different types of meds/insulin, dogs who dealt with separation anxiety, fear, aggression and so on. I assure you I am very comfortable with all dogs as they are with me. I see myself as very approachable and non threatening who treats other dogs just like her own as it should be when your pets are staying away from home! As of now I’m on the hunt for more regular work. So I am available anytime of the day or night until that happens. I would love to be able to work 100% with others dogs, whereas boarding, walking on leash and off and providing daycare and hope to work towards that as I had already done in Toronto. I’m currently living in west Brandon Manitoba and am able to service Brandon and surrounding areas. In my home your dog will be greeted by my two friendly dogs and cat. They may be small but are very accustomed to any size dog that may be staying with us. For meal times we all eat together at the same time with my supervision, walks are usually done in a very organized manor. I may take the dogs separately for better one on one time. As for sleeping, depending on the size of your dog of course. I allow them on the couch and bed, but also can provide dog beds/blankets if needed.

“Jessica was nothing short of fantastic! When we did a little meet and greet beforehand, I could tell my dogs loved her right away. She was quick to respond to me when booking her and her communication was excellent. There were lots of updates with photos while I was gone and I could tell they were taken care of like they were her own. Such a great first experience with Rover. HIGHLY recommend.”

About: I’ve experienced personally caring for dogs and cats since I was a toddler! As I am unable to currently have pets, I would love to care for yours! I am currently in University while also working part-time as a health care aide. However, squeezing in some pet time wouldn’t be an issue over here! Majority of my days are spent at home studying; spending time with your pets & ensuring their safety would be a simple task as I’m able to have my eyes on them pretty frequently.
8. Amber J.
About: My name is Amber, and I live in Brandon. I have five years experience with dogs of all temperaments at local dog daycares and kennels. I have a rescue dog named Remi (He is a corgi/Doberman cross) that loves to play with other dogsI would love to take care of your dog(s) and provided a safe and fun environment for your dog! If you need me to walk, drop in, or your dog can stay here as long as you needed. I know how to administer medication such as pills, eye care, insulin, etc! I also do daily photos and updates because I know how important it is for you that your dog is safe and happy! I look forward in meeting your dog(s) and you. I also love taking care of cats! 🙂 I do have another job but it’s flexible hours. I’m sure we can make something work with both of our schedules. Most evenings and weekends would work! I have a fully fenced yard that is six feet high. I would stick to your dogs daily schedule as much as possible to keep stress levels low when you are away.
