I love, and have worked with most breeds of dog, and am comfortable with giving shots, meds, and walking/working with hard-to-control pets. I love to snuggle and I personally walk about 5km/day. I have an 12-year-old female Basset named Barney that loves all dogs and cats and has helped me with training many times over the years..... including calming feral cats that I fostered. I love all new experiences, and can't wait to meet your pet. I travel a lot, but if you give me enough notice for a long stay I can usually make it work. I do have an older female Basset hound who is very friendly that would need to come with me. I prefer longer stays (weekly or monthly) while you're away. In your home, I am happy to work with whatever rules you have. I don't mind going for walks or to the park if your dog is good in the car and with other pets. I need to bring Barney with me, she cant be left alone for long periods of time.

About: I have been a dog owner most of my life but due to our travels I do not have a pet at this time. My last pet was a boxer who lived to be almost 14 years old. My neighbour had a lovely dog and she has many times referred to me as the "other Mom" and often droped her dog off if she is going out for any extended period of time even though she know the dog would be fine on her own. All my friends know I have a passion for animals and miss owing a pet very much. I am retired and did accounting for several small businesses. My husbands background is in banking and he is also retired but doing business consulting for small businesses. I am currently retired and spent winters in Mexico where I was voluntering at a local humane society walking, cuddling dogs and cats. About: I worked at animal emerge clinic of the Fraser Valley for almost 4 years and I love taking care of animals and giving them the love that they deserve. I can be pretty flexible but I am a dancer and this is what my schedule is like for right now Sundays 5:00pm-9:00pm, Wednesday 6:30-9:30pm, Thursdays 3:30, 5:00pm and Fridays 7:00pm-10pm. About: Grew up in a home where my mom bred Labradors. After having kids of my own I started getting an interest in looking after the puppies that return when their families went away on vacations. 8 years later, I have sons, mothers/fathers, neighbors, you name it, everyone sends their dogs to stay here. I am at stay at home mom, with a hobby farm so besides drop off and pick up from school I am home. We spend a lot of time outside so unless it’s crazy weather there is tons of exercise and play. I have a 3/4 acre fenced yard. Dogs that become regulars can come with me off leash to our back property and swim. When we are not outside they are in the home with my family. Puppies and any dogs that can not be trusted unsupervised have a room set up with pens and/or crates.
