About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been a natural part of my routine. I’ve been a dog owner myself for over 4 years, so I fully understand the responsibility, patience, and consistency required to keep a dog happy, healthy, and safe. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments. I regularly walked my sister’s Pitbull–Labrador mix, who is anxious when meeting other dogs on lead, so I’m very comfortable managing reactive behaviour and maintaining safe distances if needed. I’ve also cared for my brother’s French Bulldog, adapting to his individual needs and energy levels. In addition, my partner and I have frequently looked after his parents’ Labrador over the past 5 years, providing walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. This has given me experience caring for dogs in a home environment over longer periods of time. Overall, I’m confident working with anxious and reactive dogs and always prioritise positive reinforcement, patience, and safety. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times. I'm currently out of work so free most of the time to dog sit and also walk dogs. I am limited as I do not drive however for house sitting I can arrange to be dropped off and picked up, same can be done for walking. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding, walks suited to their energy level, playtime, rest, and plenty of attention. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs and always use a calm, patient, safety-focused approach. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful and tidy, provide regular updates, and treat every pet as if they were my own.
