“Nicole and her family watched Hank for 3 days while my wife and I were out of town. Hank can be dog reactive so previously we had had to settle for a kennel because it was hard to find a sitter who did not already have a dog of their own. Upon hearing that, Nicole was kind enough to block off the weekend for Hank alone. I cannot tell you how much it meant to know he was spending the weekend in a warm home with a substitute family. From the pictures and videos Nicole sent, he was happy, comfortable, well fed and well loved. Nicole and her husband have a son who was also great with Hank and in addition to feeding him, I heard Hank slept on his bed the first night. We would have Hank stay with Nicole and her family again in a heartbeat, and would encourage anyone else to do the same. 5 stars.”

About: I have a german shepherd and a pitbull that I've helped raise in my family. The pitbull is a rescue and is reactive to noise and animals. “Michael & Charlene were great with our dogs for day care. Coming from out of the country, you never know what to expect from strangers, even through Rover. After our meet & greet, we were totally comfortable leaving our kids there. We didn't ask for walks specifically, but our dogs got walks every day, and got to enjoy their beautiful fenced back yard with lush grass and a water feature. On our first morning dropoff, Michael greeted us with a special human treat: delicious homemade muffins! We had to stay out later than we said we would one night, but Michael handled it in stride. Communication was great every step of the way! Looking forward to our next visit to Canada and bringing our dogs to Michael & Charlene's place again!”

I work from home and bring any board and trains here. Besides going out for a few hours I am normally home all day and night to take care of your pet. I have one hour calls with clients during the day and can make my own schedule. I provide a safe, structured, and loving home environment for every dog in my care. I have two German Shepherds, so for everyone's safety and comfort, I require all guest dogs to be crate trained, and owners must provide their dog's crate. Dogs take turns having free time in the house so everyone gets one-on-one attention and a chance to relax without feeling overwhelmed. When it's their turn, they're welcome to enjoy the furniture and even sleep on my bed if that's what they're used to at home. When they're not out, they rest comfortably in their crate with fresh water and a cozy space to relax. About: I own a pitbull chocolate lab mix, hes a rescue and is my joy in life. I've taught him manners and made him many friends, he and I are always in the market for new dog friends! I own a dog so walks daily lots of snuggles and bring him to see his friends almost daily. And the park as often as possible. I live in a house with my dog, we hangout outside, go for walks, the park, and we play outback in the yard, and wrestling, sometimes ice cream treats on hot days!

About: I have had pets all my life and fostered so many too! I truly love them all! Im dedicating my days/evenings to loving your fur family as much as I love mine! I'm available for regular drop in visits and walks between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Sunday and can custom evening visits. We can discuss and customize the pet care you need. Care in your home will be discussed with you. You know what your furball needs and I will make our time providing the enriichment they need. Care in my home would be in my cat room. Their enrichment would include a morning wakeup, several visits through the day and tucked in at night. The room is set up with 2 cat trees, access to a secure catio(monitored with a camera) when weather permits. You would bring their favourite bed, toys, litterbox and food. No dog care in my home at this time, but I can visit your dog for dog walking, feeding and snuggling.

About: I have been working with animals for as long as I can remember. My mom and I fostered dogs when I was young and I started dog walking and pet sitting on my own around 10 years old. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies as well as administering medication. My own family dog was a pet therapy dog and I did the training to be a certified handler with her. I currently am in University and work part time but I set up my schedule to be able to check in between classes or in between school and work. About: Although I have only recently joined Rover, I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for both puppies and seniors! My youngest pup is 3 years old and my oldest is 11 years old. My senior dog has a variety of health issues, so I am familiar with administering medications to keep your pups happy and healthy. My senior dog is also a bit more anxious, so I am fairly knowledgeable on making a nervous dog a bit more comfortable. Although I did not grow up with cats, I have lots of experience cat sitting for friends and am very comfortable playing and hanging out with them. I am here to make sure your furry friends feel all the love when you’re away at work or when life gets busy! I recently graduated from the University of Alberta and am working part-time as I settle into the post-grad life, so I have tons of time to check in on your furry friends! I am currently accepting bookings up to 1 day in advance. My schedule is very flexible and I am available every day of the week all day except 1pm-8pm Mondays and Thursdays. As of right now, I am only able to check in on pets in my clients’ homes. Check ins include playing with the pet, giving food/water, administering medications as instructed, going on walks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I may also bring some surprise treats depending on your dogs diet :)
About: I have been working for Edmonton humane Society for 4 years. Prior to that I have fostered many cats, kittens and rabbits. I live on a small acreage and own 2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 Rabbits, 2 tortoises, chickens and ducks. I have also volunteered for several animal rescues. I am comfortable with all cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, rabbits, chickens, ducks and reptiles. I am comfortable with giving medications, injections and other medical treatments. I am mostly available on Thursdays but also some Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as evenings. I am mainly looking for casual work. I will treat your animals with love and care. I have training in fear free animal interactions and am very experienced reading animal body language.

“Nicole and her family watched Hank for 3 days while my wife and I were out of town. Hank can be dog reactive so previously we had had to settle for a kennel because it was hard to find a sitter who did not already have a dog of their own. Upon hearing that, Nicole was kind enough to block off the weekend for Hank alone. I cannot tell you how much it meant to know he was spending the weekend in a warm home with a substitute family. From the pictures and videos Nicole sent, he was happy, comfortable, well fed and well loved. Nicole and her husband have a son who was also great with Hank and in addition to feeding him, I heard Hank slept on his bed the first night. We would have Hank stay with Nicole and her family again in a heartbeat, and would encourage anyone else to do the same. 5 stars.”
“Robyn and her family took amazing care of our dog while we were away for the week. This is the first time we have left her alone with a pet sitter, and I’m so glad it was with Robyn and her family. They cared for her as their own, she was even able to sleep on the couch (which is her favourite place). Our dog was taken on numerous walks a day and trips to the dog park, she had the best time. “Rudy and Michelle were fantastic! This was the first time that we have ever left our 15 month old Bernedoodle Milo for over a week and it was an amazing experience for him. Rudy and Michelle gave him so much love and attention and were very good at working with his timidness and uncertainty at the beginning of his stay. As well, they went out of their way to make Milo feel very comfortable with both themselves and their dogs. Milo very quickly fell in love with all of them. We received daily videos and pictures and we could tell immediately that Milo was very happy! I’m fact, our girls were worried that Milo wouldn’t want to come home (but of course he did)! We are so happy with our experience with Rudy and Michelle and will definitely be booking more stays with them for Milo because we know he will be missing his new friends!
