“Ashley took care of our dog Bailey for a week while we were at a rental house nearby in coastal Maine. She works from home, so our pet was rarely left alone. He was kept inside and got lots of attention, he was not left outside in a fenced enclosure all day alone. She took great care of Bailey with multiple daily walks and lots of TLC. Like many dogs ours does not like thunder and she comforted him during the storm. There were lots of updates and photos. A Rover sitter may be more expensive than a local Kennel, or boarding at the Vets office - but the service is far superior and worth the cost. Other family members boarded their dogs this same week and their animals were caged most of the time and came back dirty and matted. Using Rover (and especially Ashley) is the right choice for any pet that is considered a member of the family.”

“We adopted 11 year old Jafar just 4 months ago. I didn’t know how he would act around another dog or a small child, and I was worried about leaving him with Jessica who has an older Chihuahua and a 3 year old boy. I worried for nothing! Jafar loved the Chihuahua and would cuddle up with her, and he got along fine with the child! Jessica took great care of him. “Benji had a great time staying with Nicholas and his family. I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”
