“Tanner was great for Sebastian’s first Rover stay (a whole week!) since I rescued him - meaning, I was a little nervous leaving him the first time. :-) Tanner was confident he could manage which made me feel secure. Also, his place was super neat and clean, which was important to me. When I realized I would have to drop off pretty early morning, Tanner was cool with it, and after a day or so he sent photos to reassure me things were okay. A couple more photos during the week helped, too! He had all our stuff ready to go at pickup and Sebastian was clearly at home with him. I hope we’ll be back!”

“James is always loving and caring with pets. He always gives love and cuddles to his little dog, Maya. (She follows him like his shadow; she absolutely adores him!) Pets are naturally drawn to him because of his calm, and kind demeanor. James has grown up with pets his whole life, and it's obvious that they love him just as much as he loves them. He doesn't like being away from his pets for too long, he doesn't think it's fair for them to sit in the house alone. James is a great person and a wonderful sitter. I definitely recommend him for your next pet boarding!”

“I loved all of the updates and wonderful pictures I got from Emily, my dogs had a fantastic time staying with her! When they came home they were so tuckered out from having such a great time playing, I'm honestly not sure if I had a better vacation or if they did. At no point was I ever worried about them staying in her care. She let me know how they did when I came to pick them up which I appreciated. Also Emily is incredibly kind person and was easy in general to talk with. I will definitely have my pets stay with her again next time I need it, and would recommend her to anyone in the area.”

About: I am a responsible single mom, in need of some extra income, with a 4 year old daughter that has extra energy for walking and playing with your pooch! We do have 2 cats, but 1 is an outside neighborhood cat and the other one lives in my bedroom (the master bedroom) of my house and can be locked up if your doggie comes and stays with us. I've been taking care of animals my whole life and doing whatever it takes to take care of them as well. They have always been apart of my family, not a job or a chore. I'm also the person my family and friends call when they need someone to watch or take care of their animals as well. I do have experience administering medication to animals as well, as I have had to administer multiple kinds of medications over the years ranging from oral pills and oral liquids to rectal medications, injections, sprays, creams, ointments, eyes and ear drops. I am currently unemployed due to COVID and using Rover to supplement any kind of income. I had 2 jobs in the service industry when the state shut down back in March 2020 and was only using Rover for a little side income, but now it has become almost my primary income. Because of this and the pandemic, I do take extra precautions, on a regular basis, making sure you, your pup and your family as well as me and my family stay safe in these trying and uncertain times! Mask wearing, social distancing during meet & greets, as well as during walks with other dogs and dog walkers, hand washing and sanitizing on a regular basis and any other concerns you may have, just ask, I will do anything and everything I can to meet your and your puppy's needs! I am also fully vaccinated and have received my booster shot. Due to COVID, I am currently not offering certain services such as dog boarding and house sitting because I do have a 4 year old daughter at home🏡! But I am still proudly offering dog walking and dropin visits and will take care of your pup🐶 like they are my own! I have a fenced back yard with grass and a porch. I also have a dog run on the side of my house with a dog house. I live a block away from an elementary school and 3 blocks away from a dog park. And less then a mile away from another dog park! My parents also live 2 blocks away and my daughter and I are always walking back and forth visiting Gramma and Papa!

She sent adorable pictures of Marley during his stay, and when I picked him I could tell he'd had a good time and been in great hands :) I will definitely use Elvia again to watch Baxter and would recommend her to others in the DogVacay community!”
