4. Hayley L.
“Hayley and her husband are great!! My dog has separation anxiety and we noticed that the second time I brought him to their house he got really anxious (because he knew it meant I was leaving for a while), so the next time they were waiting for us to arrive so that they could immediately take the dogs to play outside and make the transition smoother. Plus their dog Beau, is super friendly and welcoming to my pup 🤍”

“Clayton is a wonderful dog owner and overall lover of pets of all kinds. He has two amazing dogs of his own and he loves to bring them to the dog park, on long walks, and spending time with them. I always love when he brings his dogs to my house as they are well behaved and very happy pups. Clayton always puts his dogs as his top priority and ensures that they have everything they need, and then some! I'd wholeheartedly recommend Clayton to take care of any of my pets.”

9. Jon & Stephanie R.
“I highly recommend using this sweet couple as your pet sitter. We left our little pup there for a night and they adored him and treated him so well. I have a high anxiety dog who never wants to leave my side, and he felt right at home at their house and didn’t want to leave!”

“This is our second time booking with Cynthia. Good communication and updates with pictures and photos, but more importantly you can tell she really cares. Harley has come out happy each time and we will definitely keep using Cynthia in the future.”
11. Kendall A.
“Kendall was amazing!! This was our first time using Rover and we have a 2-year-old black lab (In fact he turned 2 during his boarding! Kendall made sure he got extra love and play time for his birthday!) She sent regular photos which made us still feel connected while he was there and worked with us to coordinate getting his special kennel to her place. Very kind and very good with dogs. Highly recommend and are already scheduled to use again!”
12. Hannah G.
“Hannah is a lifesaver! My husband and I had to attend a wedding near Harrisonburg, VA, which was a few hours away from home. We usually travel with our dog, Freya, so had to look for someone who can watch her while we attend the event. We couldn't do a meet and greet with Hannah and her dog days before the wedding since she's far but she took her chances with us. She sent us photos of Freya and she let Freya sleep on her bed, which was really sweet given she's only met Freya that same day. That, plus her calming approach made Freya, and me as a dog mom, feel at ease with her. I will definitely recommend her and use her services again if we come back to the area. Thank you, Hannah!”
13. Jill K.
“Jill is an incredible pet sitter! We don't live in the area, but she helped us out when our pup couldn't stay in our lodging with us. If we're in the area and need someone, we'd definitely use her again!”

16. beth g.
“Beth was great with our pup, Cinder! Cinder came home relaxed and stress free which speaks volumes to how she was treated while with Beth. Thank you Beth!”
17. Kaylie S.
“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Kaylie! This was my first time using this service, so i was a bit skeptical, but she came through at the last minute and was able to care for our pup as one of her own. The piece of mind I had during our trip, knowing our baby was in good hands, was priceless. We received pictures and updates daily. I recommend her to anyone that truly seeks a kind, animal loving and overall good home for boarding their pet. THANK YOU Kaylie!!! 💙”
18. Madeline O.
“Fala had a blast with Madeline! She looked so happy in all of the pictures that were sent and when we got home she zonked out— meaning she had some good walks and play time! Fala also cried when we got in the car and missed Madeline. Will definitely rebook in the future.”
19. Hannah W.
“Hannah is a wonderful dog walker and sitter. She takes excellent care of my very large dog—who while sweet requires someone who has a natural way of being with dogs. And Hannah cared for her with ease and genuine pleasure. She communicates well, is honest, and genuinely cares about the dogs she cares for. I have never had a more considerate dog walker here and look forward to working with her again.”

About: I've owned and pet sitted for animals since I got my first dog at age 9. I have experience with all sizes, ages, and types of animals including cats, dogs, birds, ducks, bunnies, lizards, and rats. I am a Class of 2023 JMU Grad, and I'm staying in Harrisonburg for most of the summer. I am not employed anywhere, so I have all the time in the world to help out my community with their pet and house care while they travel. I live right next to Purcell Park, which is a great place for pets. I'm happy to go on walks, play games, keep your pet company if they get lonely, and obviously take care of any feeding/potty needs.
