“Karley watched my Dutch Shepherd Zeus for 3 nights while I was visiting Bloomington. This was the first time our dog has stayed with someone and Karley was incredibly patient and understanding of his anxiety/whining the first 2 days ... She kept me updated and sent pictures everyday. She walked him several times a day and took him to dog park. She went and bought treats for him to help ease his anxiety. She is truly an animal lover with a huge heart. She sent us home with a bag of treats for Zeus and a detailed hand written card about his visit . This was a wonderful experience for us and this is the kind of caretaker you want to take care of your pet while you are away. I was truly blown away at what a great job she did. Kelly C”

“Sam was very responsive and sent regular updates with photos and videos about our two dogs and cat that stayed with him. He was watching several pets, and still took the time to walk our dogs on their leashes. He also made sure they got time in the yard on leads. This was the first time we sent our cat to a Rover sitter along with the dogs, and Sam was able to let us know what was "normal" behavior based on cats he has watched in the past. All of our pets, including the cat, settled in fine. Good visit and we would book again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life as well as administered medication and training to both kinds of animals. I have wanted to do animal rescue my whole life so not only does this provide me with experience but it provided me a passion as well :) I currently am a barista so I am off work at about 1-2 pm most days and have sundays and mondays off. I work some evenings as a server but that schedule is more flexible! :) I have a fenced yard and two friendly doggos in the house I currently live in. While I do prefer in house sitting, boarding can also be possible. :)

About: Grown up with dogs my whole life, owning chocolate labs, golden retrievers, and a beagle. Worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 years in the kennels, taking care of dog & cat boarders. When I was in high school, I used to dog sit for my neighbors husky about 4 hours/week. Currently, I am a student involved with a club that allows me to help train service dogs. Currently I'm a student and part time worker, but I have ample time on the weekend to take care of and play with pets! Depending on the day and length, I can take care of pets during weekdays as well. I will provide a safe and comforting home to your pet with bedding, water, and food if needed. I will also have toys available, and be sure to play with and walk the dog regularly. Ensure attention and affection for your dog, and will monitor for health and behavior and can provide updates!

About: I’ve taken care of animals pretty much all my life. I’m also very connected with animals so it makes sitting more fun and interesting. I love to see all the different personalties in each animal I’m pretty much open to anything. I do delivery so my times schedule is what I pick! I can work around your routine to meet your needs.
