Pet care experience
I have over a decade of experience doing foster and rescue volunteer work with the local shelters before relocating to Washington a few years ago. I have been dying to get back to working with animals again ever since, and after using Rover as an owner for the last few months, I am so excited to help you with your pet care needs! I was lucky enough to grow up on a small family farm back in Michigan. As a result, I got valuable hands-on experience with various heading and livestock guardian breeds before opening my home to dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and temperaments when I found my passion for rescue work. I am more than happy to help with potty training, crate training, socializing puppies, and I can even help your dog develop better leash manners. I am also more than happy to take on dogs still working through some behavior issues on a case by case basis. So, even if your covid puppy is a bit of a wild child, we can work together to accommodate them more than likely.

Victoria has been so wonderful with Penelope; Penelope loves her and whines to see her. I highly recommend Victoria to care for your fur baby.
Penelope is so happy when visiting with Victoria....she works wonderfully with her.
Victoria was friendly, reliable and spent quality time with my dog. She was easy to communicate with and she left my home cleaner than when she got there!

I live in a single family home with a modest sized fenced in yard for quick and easy bathroom breaks. I can see the big neighborhood dog park from my front door, but I prefer to pack up and hit up one of the lovely hiking trails in and around Vancouver to get my exercise for the day in. I have a senior Chihuahua mix named Roxy and a dog friendly cat named Luka. Both are used to sharing their homes with foster dogs, but we are fully equipt to keep everyone separate if that is your preference. I've also got plenty of dog bowls, leashes, and toys on hand to make your fur baby feel right at home, and dogs are always allowed to nap on the furniture or sleep in one of the beds in our home.
Information Victoria B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any known behavior issues such as extreme leash pulling, higher than usual prey drive, resource guarding, fear reactivity, dog selectivity, or separation anxiety so I can keep everyone safe and happy.
A typical day
I spend a lot of my free time hiking and gardening, weather permitting, and I am always happy to have a furry friend to tag along and go on adventures with. I enjoy practicing basic obedience with my personal dog daily, and I am happy to get your pup started if they're still green behind the ears! With permission, a little joy ride to get a pup cup is a fun treat every once in a while but fear not! There will still be plenty of time for naps and cuddles if that is more their style.

Availability
I currently have an extremely flexible schedule. I update my rover calendar regularly, and I will do my best to reasonably accommodate owners with not-so-flexible schedules.
