The most important thing to me is knowing how your pet responds to children because there are little ones in my home (two children under 5). They are gentle and kind with dogs, but run around and make loud noises as kids do. Understandably, some dogs don’t jive well with that. If kids aren’t a deterrent and you’ve made it this far: I like to know as many details as possible regarding your dog’s routines, mealtimes, commands, history, quirks, and any health information that is useful for me to know.

I spend most of my time at home with my kids. While pets are visiting they will receive great care, much affection and will be made to feel right at home. I will provide a safe, comfortable environment for them and take care of their needs, respecting the regular routines they would follow with you at home. We’ll spend a lot of time outside in the yard with the chuck-it, or play seek and find games. We have a splash pad and a kiddie pool for dogs to cool off on hot days. We take walks through the neighborhood and woods by our house where adventurous dogs love to sniff and explore. I will be their main caregiver, but my two young kids will surely be enthusiastic helpers! I will also be sure to send you photos and updates while your buddy is in my care.
