Pet care experience
I love hanging out with dogs. I had small dogs growing up, and now I have a big German Shepherd named Sadie. We go on daily walks, runs, and hikes. With exercise and training, Sadie and I have strengthened our bond. I volunteer for a non-profit that raises and trains service dogs, I have taken a classes on canine behavioral science, and I have taken several training classes with my dog. I apply the lessons I have learned when caring for your pup, to help me read your dogs body language and ensure they are comfortable during their stay.
Reviews
As always,Tara and Sadie took wonderful care of Kido while we were on vacation. Daily updates and pics to see how much fun he was having and how welcomed he was onto their pack.
Great sitter!! Tara always sends pictures and Paddington is very happy to stay 🐶
Flynn was well looked after by Tara, was great to find someone for the Christmas period on fairly short notice. Got plenty of photos and updates and Tara made sure Flynn was a good fit for their dog in advance of his extended stay. Would happily have him stay again in future.
Thanks so much once again. Especially for your extra help with tips on increasing Kido's tolerance of being out of sight with us, and work in his separation anxiety!

Information Tara D. would like to know about your pet
What is their temperament? How are they with other dogs? Do they come when you call their name? What does their mealtime, bedtime, and daily exercise routine look like? Lastly, do they have any health issues that I should be aware of and monitor?
A typical day
We go on one to two brisk walks a day. Sometimes we jog or go hiking on weekends when the weather is nice. Meal times may include puzzle feeders or light training. We teach guest dogs our house rules which are 1) to wait before going in or out the front door, and 2) to keep all four paws on the ground (no jumping on people, counters, etc.).

Availability
I work from home, so I am always keeping an eye on the pups. I often have a dog sleeping at my feet or in my lap while I'm working :)
