I could not live happily without dogs. I love their positive energy and unconditional love. We live in a nice Royal Oak neighborhood with a safe large fenced in yard and they are never outside alone. Your pup will get plenty of love and attention, while becoming an honorary member of the family. You will receive fun pictures throughout their stay. I've been an animal lover my whole life and have never lived without a dog. I’ve pet sat for many different people, for dogs of all sizes, previous to finding Rover.com. I've taught dog obedience since 2005 and have extensive experience with almost all breeds & sizes. I also work in a Vet Clinic. I was on a break from Rover for many years due to taking care of senior parents. Your dog(s) must get along with my two small dogs (Hunter & Phoebe). No peeing or marking inside please! Please make sure your pets are Up to Date on vaccinations and on current flea/tick prevention.

While I’m at work, my dogs stay in one room with a comfy bed and water. Their comfort and safety in number one. At night, the dogs sleep with me in my bedroom. If you prefer, they can alway be crated.

Can your dog climb stairs? Are they fully potty trained and not in the habit of marking objects? What is their daily routine? Anything else you’d like me to know?
A typical day
Whether it’s playing games, learning tricks or taking a nap, you dog is going to have fun and plenty of attention. If requested, I can take your dog for walks. It's up to you to specify their requirements or requests, I have a nice neighborhood to walk in with lots of trees and parks. Unless otherwise requested, the dogs all sleep with me in my upstairs bedroom. If you want them in a crate, that is fine. Otherwise they are welcome to join my 2 small dogs and myself on the queen size bed. Or I can put their bed wherever would be best, When I am not working, the dogs are Always with me. We play, exercise, cuddle and go for walks if requested. I do go to work 5 days a week, but the dogs will have my dogs for company when I am not there.

I currently work 5 days a week, but after work I’m always home for the dogs. I’m never gone longer than 7 hours. We eat twice a day, so no grazing. Treats are provided a couple times per day (if ok with you).
