Pet care experience
I have fostered cats and dogs for nearly 9 years. I work in animal welfare and put animals at the heart of everything I do. I’m very adaptive to all needs of dogs and love the companionship that comes with boarding. I treat all pets who enter my home as my own and they get the royal treatment! I work from home so I have a lot of time on my hands for 1-1 time. If I need to pop to the office, it’s usually only for half a day and my partner would be at home in my absence. My home is secure with two doors to access our property and no side gate to the garden. I have an enclosed garden and pets are never left unsupervised outside. I have an old Giant Schnauzer fur baby who keeps himself to himself and two calm cats who are used to dogs coming and going.

Thank you for looking after Buddy! Would definitely recommend Serena. She made time to meet us the week leading up to Buddy's stay so that she could meet Buddy and to see how he got on with Rudy (her dog). We had a lovely walk together. He enjoyed his day of snuggles, walks, and hanging out with Rudy. He was happy when we collected him and got a message and photos with updates. Great communication - made it nice and stress free.
We left Gracie with Serena today, We had no worries about her when we saw the photos and video that were sent to us, Gracie looked settled in and was playing, so having lots of fun and cuddles whilst we were away. We highly recommend Serena, and Gracie will definitely have more play days there.
I have an 18 month chocolate Lab called Olive and found finding care for her was difficult when I needed to go away. That was until I found Serena! I trust Serena completely with Olive, she provides updates and photos throughout the day, has looked after her both for a couple of hours during the day to multi night stay overs. Serena looks after Olive in her home setting which helps her integrate and settle more when I am not there. She sticks to the schedules I have advised her and will feed and walk her to the times Olive is used Olive loves it so much that she always looks at her house when I walk by now as she wants to go in and play. If that isn’t reassuring enough for me than nothing will be! Thanks Serena!
I have always trusted Serena to look after my pets, she has worked in the animal sector for a number of years, this gives her the edge of understanding medical & food issues, breed traits & behaviours, this all helps with giving each individual dog total care and dedication, love & support. She lives close to local parks so has lots of opportunity for walkies!

I like to know all of your dogs needs ahead of time, so it would be lovely to meet up and find out everything their is to know about your fur baby. This allows me to prepare my home to ensure a smooth transition and quicker settling in period to make them feel like they're on their own holiday, whilst you're on yours! :)
A typical day
I love the outdoors and will enjoy taking your dog for a lovely walk. I am located near two excellent parks, or I have quiet street walking if your dog would prefer time away from other animals. I have a cupboard full of all kinds of enrichment you could ever imagine! Then once your pooch is ready to relax, I have all the love and comfort they could possible need.

All animals that come and stay in my home, I treat exactly as my own. I help transition them into our daily routine, starting the day with a nice stretch of the legs, followed by brekkie!
