About my space: My fiancé and I share a well lit spacious 3 bedroom apartment with our super sweet dog-loving cat. She grew up with dogs and loves them. She plays fetch and we believe she thinks she is a dog. About your pups stay: I believe that most dogs are lacking adequate exercise. Not because they are not well cared for but because we all lead extremely busy lives. We are located in close proximity to a great walking trail so during your dogs time with me they will receive lots of playtime including long walks and dog park play (if they are sociable / pending your approval). Why choose me: I am extremely detail oriented. I am honest and transparent about what I am and am not capable of. I am working towards becoming a dog trainer. I love animals but I have a special fondness for dogs. I work in a corporate setting and it is not nearly as rewarding as the time I spend with our 4-legged friends.

Sapphire is an intelligent and caring person. My two Labs fell in love with her. I was pretty skeptical about hiring someone offline but it has turned out to be a wonderful experience. She seems really knowledgeable about the way dogs like to be treated. I think she will do really well.

Why I love dog sitting Blondie was my first dog, he was a 4 year-old golden retriever mix that we got from a local shelter when I turned 7. Blondie was a handful to say the least but we loved him until he left us 6 years later. Thus began my love affair with dogs.

I would love to discuss this with you but I generally need to know: If your dog is dealing with any illnesses or physical injuries? Any medications ? If your dog is current on vaccinations and registered with the City of Houston? If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, people, animals, or children? If your dog like cats? If your dog enjoys dog parks?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Routes will vary depending on your dogs personality and exercise requirements. I enjoy walking dogs at parks such as Houston Arboretum, Hermann Park, Menil Park, Discovery Green, and so many of the other great dog friendly parks in Houston. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We can discuss your dogs bedtime habits to keep your dog in his normal daily and nightly routine. So if you crate your dog, your dog sleeps in your bed, or your dog sleeps in your room at night we can accommodate your pups needs. Time I'll spend with your dog I am currently offering sitting Fridays through Sundays however, other arrangements can be made. I will spend ALL day with your dog. Our days will be filled with play time, walks, and lots of belly rubs.

About this sitter: I am a local artist & animal lover with three years of sitting and dog walking experience. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2011 and I am currently a volunteer at Friends for Life No Kill Shelter here in Houston. I am certified in Pet First Aid, my apartment is insured, and above all I am passionate about animals. I believe a tired pup is a happy pup so your dog will get plenty of exercise with me.
