Since a little girl I’ve always had a passion for animals and our environment. Veterinary Technician for 12 years working locally in Brevard County and Tampa Bay. Dog and cat enthusiast but have experience with exotics as well! Over the course of time working in the Veterinary Industry I have established and built a rapport with clients and their fur babies. After seeing first hand the negative sides of boarding I took it upon myself to offer at home pet sitting for family, friends and clients. What sets me apart from others is my knowledge and experience I've obtained being a nurse for animals. Not only will I take care of your pets needs, duties, spend quality time with them as if they were my own, but above all else ensure your pets safety, Wellness, and health comes first. I have years of experience administering oral and transdermal medications along with subcutaneous, intramuscular injections or subcutaneous fluids for pets who are chronically ill, chronic allergies or have an autoimmune disease. Samantha is honest, responsible and has a love for animals. I've watched her save a baby duck, keep it warm under a lamp and feed it with a syringe. She let the duck go into a pond with other ducks when it was ready. She has done this with a baby bird until it could fly. Saved an abandon kitten, now named fancy. A typical day
My typical day varies depending on the species. As well as respecting and following the guidelines and requests each owner has implemented. For cats, my typical day would be feeding and ensuring they have fresh water available twice daily. Scooping and cleaning each litter box twice daily. As well as cleaning and vacuuming/sweeping any excess litter around the perimeter of each box. For the outgoing and extroverted felines I will play laser beam or which ever toys they are accustomed to playing with. For dogs, a typical day looks like feeding twice daily unless I'm advised more feedings. Having fresh water available at all times. Walking or letting outside in fenced in yard as many times as needed. Playing fetch or tug of war. Lounging and spending one on one time with them.
