Pet care experience
I do pet care for dogs and cats in the neighborhood! When I lived in California, I dog sat for both my family and friends and took care of small and medium sized dogs. Now that I live in New York City, I am looking to continue pet sitting while working from home. I have a flexible schedule to help accommodate for requests and visits. I am flexible to do overnight visits as well as boarding in my own home.

Samantha did a wonderful job taking care of our senior Maltipoo! Our dog is older, with limited vision, requiring twice daily oral medication and frequent bathroom breaks. She kept us up-to-date on how he was doing throughout our trip and we returned to a well cared for and happy pup. Very pleased and will book again in the future!
Sam is great! My dog loves when she comes over and she is always really caring and flexible and a great communicator. I look forward to booking more visits with her in the future!

I have a two-bedroom apartment with a spacious living area for dogs to stay in. I’m also close to two parks so there are lots of great places to take your dog for walks. For dogs, I typically will take them out 4-5 times a day to make sure they are getting ample time outside. To note, I live in a walk up building, many dogs are fine with this, but this can be challenging for older or smaller dogs. I always try to meet up with new clients each time before we do any visit type of visit (boarding, house sits, etc.) so that you and your pet will feel comfortable with me whether that's in my home or yours. I'm happy to do stays longer than one week, but if it is longer than 7 days, I will charge an additional $20 per day for each day over a week.

Let me know what they’re feeding schedule is like (2x a day, leaving out food, etc.) and if there’s special needs around food or behavior (aggressive, separation anxiety, etc.). I’d also like to know if your dog has certain behaviors towards people, kids or other dogs.
A typical day
I love to go to Riverside or Central Park with dogs. If your dog does well with other dogs, I also like to take dogs to the Black Lab Cafe on 80th And Amsterdam. I will only do this if this is something you and your dog would be 100% comfortable with.

Availability
I work remotely so I have the flexibility to do visits to your home or do boarding and daycare from my own apartment. My old roommate is moving out with her dog to a new apartment so I’m definitely looking to help take care of pets in my neighborhood!
