Pet care experience
I was raised by a family of four Siamese cats and have rarely lived without the company of felines. I enjoy animals on their terms - this lets them learn to trust me, even the very shy and those with difficult pasts. (I also have experience with ferals and geriatrics.) I always bring something to visits that cats can smell and play with, I talk to them, and - sooner rather than later - they're napping aside me. I am interested in animals' overall well being and am happy to make food, play, and other suggestions where desired. I like to cultivate clients for longer-term relationships, but I'm flexible and also welcome short-notice or single bookings. Cats are my love and priority and I consider it an honor to be entrusted with yours. ~Rikki McGinty

A typical day
I always have my Happy bag with me with a range of toys and items to explore as well as catnip. I love to snuggle if my client kitties do and don't mind rolling around on the floor to retrieve lost balls and mice. I prefer if cats have their claws recently trimmed. I'm fast and good with claw clippers and am happy to oblige for a fee. My Instagram feed @ishowupforcats showcases client kitties but also ferals, store cats, and my rescues. I hope you will allow me to feature your companions :) I really appreciate your review when you're happy with my care. Tips are also welcome!
