Pet care experience
Since I was 8 years old, I've had pets in my life. I helped my grandmother with a pet-sitting business starting at a very young age. I knew then how much a I cared about animals, and I've had at least one pet in my household for nearly my entire life.

Richard is an extraordinary young man. He has cared for both of my pets (2 English Bulldogs) by sitting, walking, feeding, training, and more. He truly loves animals and is extremely compassionate. He is incredible with his own pets (1 dog and 2 cats). I've witnessed him with his dog, Misha, on many occasions. Ever since he rescued her, he fell in love and shows that love with his actions (including lots of kisses and hugs). With the utmost patience and consistency, he has and still is training her. I have a friend who added a German Shepherd puppy to their home and they were not actively training or working with him. Richard went to visit and within minutes had their puppy sitting, shaking, cease biting or nibbling, and laid on the floor eventually calming the puppy down. He has a rare gift that allows him to love and care for a pet while at the same time challenging them with physical and mental activities. You'd only benefit with Richard on your team!

I take my friendly dog to the dog park(leashes and leads mostly)as much as I possibly can, and she would love to have a travel companion! I can also help with training if needed; I am an advocate for well trained dogs being happier and more free. Making more animals happy is my biggest goal.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks to check out any new smells, people, and animals around the neighborhood. Going to the dog park is one of the most fun things for me and the dogs I take care of. I also believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical and social, making puzzle games and training a must.

I was recently laid-off for the winter from my job in construction. In between taking care of my dog Misha, and two cats Nala, and Lucy, I would love to fill my days with caring for and meeting more delightful animals!
