Ever since adopting my first dog from a shelter 18 years ago (a hyperactive Dalmation/Lab mix), I have constantly shared my home with a plethora of furry companions! I currently care for a senior Pug and 2 cats. I spent 6 years walking all kinds of dogs as a volunteer for the Oregon Humane Society. I even helped care for dozens of fearful Akitas seized from an abusive breeder who were legally unable to be adopted for 2 years until their court case was brought to trial. I've also volunteered at multiple farm sanctuaries helping care for chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, sheep, and cows! I have experience giving insulin shots, IV fluids, and medications galore. I love taking pups for long walks, going to dog parks, playing fetch, giving scratches, snuggles, and showering them with affection and sweet talk. Dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, turtles, fish, bearded dragons... my favorite animals are all animals!
