Pet care experience
I have had pets since the day I was born and have relied on others to watch my animals extensively while I've been gone. I have been in your shoes worrying about the care of my babies when I'm gone. Babysitting to me entails more than food, water, walks, litter scooping; most important is attention. I have had cats primarily for the past 30 years and I consider myself a Cat Whisperer. I've had (and currently have) cats with chronic illnesses that require a variety of meds, so pills don't scare me. :) I can clip nails should that be needed, give injections, pills, brush teeth. I've done it all with mine and others . I've even taught one of my cats to walk on a leash! I have babysat a variety of dogs as well. I can walk, pick up the poops, play fetch, walk and anything else the pups need. Have an anxiety ridden dog that cannot sleep anywhere but in a bed with someone? I've done that. :) My condo is too small for a dog, in my opinion, so watching others' allows me to get my dog groove on. I primarily work from home. I'm a professor and only teach on campus for about 4-5 hours a day in the week, so unless I'm out of town; I'm pretty wide open. And I have large chunks of summers off... Apparently I need to get a life. :) I cannot accept animals in my own home as my cat would never allow it; but I am dedicated to your instructions, advice on their personalities and/or quirks, preferences of care. Opening your home to strangers is a bit scary and I've been in your shoes so I respect this level of trust given to me for both your pet as well as your home. Unless instructed to do so, merely coming in and only providing food and water is not my only priority. I will send daily texts, video chats, photos or anything will make you feel that your pet is cared for and safe. I hope to meet some Noodles! You know you also call animals food names.... admit it. :)
Reviews
Reese is phenomenal! She cared for our two goldendoodles and sent us updates throughout the day. It was clear they were very loved and exercised and so happy. We cannot say enough about Reese and her professionalism and love she showed to our babies.
Reese was an incredible dog sitter. She communicated a ton and was extremely patient with our highly anxious dog. She took Chappa on plenty of walks played with her everyday. We highly recommend using her next time you hire a dog sitter.
Reese was so amazing with our dog, Willow. She took such good care of her and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation without worry. I have my fingers crossed that she will be available next time we go away!
Reese has awesome energy and I knew the moment I met her at our meet and great, that she would be a great fit for watching my cat. While I was away, she gave me detailed updates about my cat, Taz (that I very much appreciated) as well as sending me photos of videos of Taz. Makes me feel at ease when I know my pet is in good hands. I will definitely have Reese come back to watch Taz!

I adhere to all instructions and wishes of the pet parents. You know your animals best and my job is to make sure they are both well taken care of and aren't lonely. My goal is to make you feel sure that your babies are safe and and happy.
Information Reese P. would like to know about your pet
Of course, medication needs, food intake, quirks and habits I should be aware of are of utmost importance. Does your baby love or hate to be brushed? What calms them when they are stressed?
A typical day
Depending on the dog, I can offer up a belly up, butt scratches, ball throwing, rope tugging, and other favorite pasttime. I live off the Greenbelt in Scottsdale, so even without a dog I am always on it on my bike or walks. Do YOU have a cat that walks on a leash like mine? If so, I'm on board. If you have normal cats, then based on the kitties' choices, I can sit and cuddle, play with milk bottle lids (because do cats ever really play with the toys we actually buy them??), brush them if they like that, or just stay the heck away and merely let them know i"m there if they are apprehensive of strangers. But I can usually win over even the most skittish of cats. :)

I have a very open schedule because I teach hybrid: meaning I work from home half of the time and teach in person the other half. So, I'm not gone all day during the week. I'm on campus an average of 3-5 hours depending on if there are boring meetings I have to attend.
