Pet care experience
Hi, My name is Rebecca. I am currently a Licensed Veterinary Technician working as the Hospice Coordinator for Houston’s leading Pet hospice practice Last Wishes. I specialize in senior care. I have experience working with most medications and conditions that Senior pets require. Not limited to but including chemotherapy, diabetes, osteoarthritis, kidney disease etc... I’m also happy to care for your healthy pets as well! I am willing to care for exotics along with dogs and cats. I have all the resources available to make sure your pets stay is the best possible. About this sitter: In order to stay happy in life I learned very quickly I need to be surrounded by animals. I have many years experience working with exotics, large animal, and companion animals. There is nothing I love more than the company of animals. Why I love dog sitting I've had animals my whole life. I grew up on a small farm and have had dogs and cats since I was a baby. I work in the veterinary field as a Licensed veterinary technician. My experience administering medication I administer medications on a daily basis as a veterinary technician. I am also comfortable administering oral chemotherapy medications, Injections, and subcutaneous fluids.

Rebecca has come to my home many times to take care of my black lab. She is punctual, respectful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and fantastic with my senior dog who has cancer. I trust Rebecca to properly give all required meds plus a lot of extra hugs and kisses. She even volunteered to walk my baby without me asking her to -- she goes the extra mile because she loves the animals. And I love the photos she sends (again, on her own initiative). I just can't say enough good things about Rebecca and how great she is with both animals and people!
I have been using ms rebecca for 6 months and could not be happier. She is prompt, knowledgable and so great with my 2 cats. My cats tend to be a bit reserved but they get excited and really come out of their shell with rebecca. I have been using rebecca on the weekends and would trust my girls to anyone else.

I love all dogs regardless of breed. I enjoy the challenge of becoming friends with shy dogs who require more patience. My two favorite breeds (if I absolutely have to be come up with something) are Yorkshire Terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog This is totally up to you! Whatever your requirements are, I can provide. If you would like a 30 min walk/playtime or several hour visit to include walk, playtime, cuddle I am available for that as well. Prices may vary depending on what is requested. Extra house-sitting services I have no problem watering plants, scooping feces, getting mail, turning lights on and off or whatever else is needed. I have previous experience as a housekeeper as well.
