Pet care experience
I have owned dogs all my life, from a 100-pound doberman to a 60-pound boxer to a 20-pound schnauzer. I have experience caring for animals, including walks, play time, bath time (never a favorite with the animals!), and training. Dog walking- just tell me how far of a walk you want me to take your beloved pooch and I will strap my walking sneakers on! Comfortable with all types of leashes, sizes and breed of dog, and climate for walking. I have my own poop bags Drop in visits- I'm available to come spend some time with your animal at whatever time of day! We can play, have a potty break, and spend some time together so your dog isn't so wound up when you get home! Overnights / sitting - I have experience with overnight visits and would love to keep your dog company when you are gone. I'm comfortable staying at your residence for as long as you are! I am not working and have open availability to take care of your animal(s)! Please message me for more details if needed. I'd love to care for your animal(s)! I am unable to care for your pets in my own home. I reside in Rochester, on the border of Irondiquiot. I'd prefer to stay in the area but am willing to travel to areas like Brockport, Fairport, etc.

I've found that Rachel tends to go above and beyond when I need her to dogsit. Without needing to request while I'm away on business, she will send pictures of my pups and lets me know how they're doing! That along with her being able to promptly update when asked has made her my go-to pet sitter for years.
Rachel is amazing! Her proven love of both dogs and cats makes her the perfect person to come and care for our pets. She is comfortable with both large and small dogs and showers them with affection. She has been flexible with our shifting schedule and is willing to help out with whatever we have needed - drop-in visits or walks. When we are away she keeps us informed with pictures or texts. Rachel has proven to be reliable and trustworthy. We will continue to use her!

No breed preferences, however I do favor large dogs. I do like to know how many times per day I would need to come visit and what the dog is like (does he or she like playing or prefer a walk?). Also, how does the dog deal with thunder/storms (I know my dogs hate thunder and get scared and like to have special attention then)?
A typical day
If the dog is a good traveler, we can explore Rochester together on walks! Otherwise, we will stick to the local neighborhood scene. Lots of playtime will be included, whether it be with a tug toy, tennis ball, squeaker toy, or just running around in a game of chase! Lots of pets and snuggles are included, and maybe some treats too :)
