Pet care experience
I really admire dogs and enjoy their company. Plenty time to play ball and lots of comfy space for lounging or cuddling in the house. If your dog has favorite activities or music just let me know and we can be sure to incorporate it to maximize the comfort of your companion while you're away. About this sitter: I love to garden and enjoy being playful. Noticing and caring for nature's beauty and enjoying happy times are my life's goals. I love animals and have since I was young, I feel that I communicate well with them and am excited to get to know your pet. I'm studying plants and dance in Portland. We can be a home for your pet while you need it. Our little family can always make room for more. -Rachel Why I love dog sitting I've always loved dogs! My first dog was a Jack Russell terrior named Lizzy. About my yard I have a large rectangular grassy yard partially shaded including a porch. It is fenced. My experience administering medication Is limited but I am comfortable working to keep your dog healthy.

I have known Rachel a long time and she has always been an animal lover. She sees animals as furry people with feelings, personalities, likes/dislikes, and needs just like we have. I have known her to be an advocate for animals of all kinds that can't speak for themselves. She welcomes animals into her home and life when in need. She cares for animals like she would a child, playing with them, providing them with a peaceful area, and caring for their needs.
I like Rachel very much. She and my cat bonded instantly. She loves animals and takes pride when they are happy and comfortable around her. I have never seen anyone be so intuitive and playful with dogs like she is. She's insightful and sensitive when an animal is needing some calm attention or gentle grooming. She's dependable, and caring, and doesn't mind listening to a dog snore in the night or being sat on by them (great things to know about someone!) If you need a pet sitter this girl is great!

A typical day
There is a park very near my house, the neighborhood has greatside walks and I have a friend's very large backyard available at all times. There are many options for snoozing, carpeted floors, a dog bed. I will be spending lots of time around your pet and give specialized time for walks and playtimes throughout the day and evening. Many of my days are spent not far from home or at home. Some days I have class or work but your pet will never be left for longer than four hours. With ahead notice I can rearrange my schedule and accomodate just about anything!
