Aspiring Crazy Cat Lady
Pet care experience
I’ve had the privilege of being surrounded by animals my entire life (5 dogs and 9 cats to be exact). So when I could finally adopt animals of my own, of course I had to get two. I’ve had Mister and Princess for over 3 years now and have seen it all. After post-surgery care, pica, hairballs, presenting me with birds, giving baths, etc. very little phases me and I still can’t get enough of them. Beyond my kitties, I’m an avid animal lover and have cared for many of my friends and familys animals over the years. Whether it be helping to train a friends poodle, taking two over-zealous labs on a hike, sitting with my moms retriever after his epileptic seizures, or offering advice to new pet owners (including my sister who I recently convinced to get a maine coon), I can’t get enough of them and I can’t wait to potentially meet yours!
Reviews
This is my second time booking Rachel and she was super accommodating and willing to help! She is seriously amazing. I can tell my cat was in great hands the whole time again. Super thankful for the many photos/notes about my happy pet. Would not hesitate to reach out to her again🌟🫶🙌
We love having Rachel watch our two dogs, and they absolutely adore her too! Rachel does a great job with communication and daily walks. Highly recommend!
Great job!!!
Rachel is our star sitter. She braved snowy conditions to come check on our cat during a power outage. We are so grateful to her & the attentive treatment she gives our family.

Safety, trust & environment
I recently hired someone to watch my cats for the first time so I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving their care to someone else. My top priorities are not only caring for your animal(s) and keeping them happy and healthy, but ensuring you feel safe and comfortable with me as well. I communicate early and often, take way too many photos, and am not afraid to ask questions until I feel confident I can provide your pet(s) with the attention and love they deserve.
Information Rachel I. would like to know about your pet
It would be great to know if your pet has any specific behaviors I should be redirecting (barking, overgrooming, leash tugging), if they have any medical or dietary needs (ex: my cats eat plastic so I avoid having plastic in the open), what their favorite toys/treats are, and anything you believe would be helpful in best caring for your loved one(s).
A typical day
For dog walks, I make sure to include some high energy moments to get their wiggles out as well as some time to smell the neighborhood and enjoy their time outside. Outside of walks, I love to actively play with both cats and dogs either with their favorite toys, hiding things for them to find, or chasing them around outside (if possible). I always make sure to give plenty of breaks so they don’t become exhausted or overstimulated.
