Pet care experience
Current vet student looking for a little extra cash. I am mixed species experienced and can even help with medical or basic grooming needs. Have a bird or gecko that needs something on top of your dog/cat? I’ve got you taken care of! I’ve been in the veterinary field as tech, assistant, and/or student for over 5 years! But have been taking care of animals for much longer than that. My friends and family always come to me for any and all pet needs.
Reviews
Rachel did great and took wonderful care of our old man Fluffy! Definitely would recommend her!
Rachel was a wonderful cat sitter! She made extra time to come to the house and meet the cats and understand their insulin injection routine. She was also very communicative throughout the process - sending daily pictures, asking questions and checking to make sure we arrived home. We would 100% recommend.
Rachel truly cares about her doggy clients. I know when I put my pet in her care, she will treat them like they were her own. She is extremely accommodating, accepting last minute requests, and will make sure my dog has everything she needs. I highly recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment
Let me know your needs and I can meet them! Bathing and cleanup, ear cleanings, potential teeth brushing depending on dog temperament are all possibilities. I can give oral meds, injections, drop/serum medications. I do know CPR and some emergency care, most of the time I will communicate with you that your pet needs to be seen by a vet before it gets to that point.
Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any medical history you find important. I prefer on summery days to walk during cooler times or have booties to protect the paws on long walks, but of course that is ultimately up to you. Also for walks please warn me of any temperament issues with other animals or people, it will not keep me from wanting to care for your pet but will allow me to take extra precautions.
A typical day
We can play, cuddle, walk, find close by trails, take your dog with me to outdoor restaurants and pet friendly places if I get to know them well enough.
Services
Rachel can watch in your home
Availability
I am in and out of classes but can drop in once a day if needed. My schedule can be flexible with the only exception of when I have exams/required class attendance. I will keep you well informed of how I can fit your pet in!
