I have had a dog since I was a baby, and I have lots of experience taking care of lots of different breeds. I also work with training dogs since I was little and I’m helping out family train their new pups. I have done neighborhood dog walks in the past, along with house/pet sitting.

Had to leave my 8 month old puppy and 13.5 yr old for the day. I expected a couple of stressed out yup dogs and what I came home to were mellow happy boys. She even watered my plants! Highly recommend Peyton.

Whenever walking a dog I always make sure that I’m keeping them safe and on a fun path. I always stick to main areas/neighborhoods and of course, never take them off leash. I make sure when I need to pull on the leash I’m never dragging the dog, just a little tug to indicate we need to move forward. I work with the heel tactic if the dog loves to constantly pull, and if you do not want me to apply that then please inform me not to.

Let me know the energy level of the dog so I won’t get accidentally get surprised and dragged. Yes that has happened before with a big dog, but otherwise that is all I really need to know so I can make sure I can keep the dog under control.
A typical day
On walks I like to especially go through parks to give them lots of sniffing and exploring time. Other than that I mainly stick to the neighborhoods and go in a big loop back to the owner’s house (or more times around smaller loops).

Availability
As a college student I’m looking for good exercise/break, and to have a furry friend along the way makes it better for me. I am doing this part time to help out others who don’t have the time to walk their energetic dogs.
