My wife Emily and I are huge dog lovers. We both grew up with dogs, but our schedules are such that we're unable to have our own right now. We love to take care of dogs on the weekends and are thrilled that Rover allows us to hang out with adorable pups on a regular basis! When we take in dogs, we only take one at a time and we spend the majority of our time with them, including frequent walks. We never let dogs off-leash outside and don't leave them in the apartment for extended periods of time (possible exception of weekdays, though we often work from home). We have a 2 bedroom condo, approximately 1150 square feet. Dogs are free to roam anywhere in our unit, or we can easily close off certain rooms, if necessary. We live very close to Palmer Square Park and the Boulevards, so there is plenty of green space nearby for walks and play time. We live in a very dog-friendly building with an elevator, and our unit has no stairs. Great for dogs of all ages! We do ask to schedule a meet and greet prior to confirming any new reservations. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home! Please note: We do charge an extra half day fee ($15) for drop-offs before 8AM or pick-ups after 9PM, but please reach out with any questions - we are very flexible!
