Pet care experience
I grew up having cats and dogs (from an 8 lb rat terrier to a 20 lb diabetic mutt requiring twice-daily insulin injections) as true members of my family, and spending time with friends' and family's dogs of all sizes. I live with my partner/boyfriend and his 4th grade son, both of whom also have grown up with dogs. We care for my boyfriend's parents' 6 corgis, 1 pitbull, and additional foster dog when we are visiting. I work full time on weekdays and my boyfriend works part time on weekends. Your pet will therefore not be alone for more than 2-4 hours at a time! He or she will enjoy at least 4-6 potty breaks per day, and 2-4 walks. We have been unable to have pets since we moved away from home after high school (10-15 years ago), but are finally permitted to have them in our new condo. We do not currently have any pets due to financial restrictions, so you don't need to feel uneasy about your pet interacting with other animals. We will also never leave him or her alone with our 4th grade child. We can't wait to spend time with or host your furry companion!
Reviews
Peggy is awesome! I do not feel comfortable leaving my fur baby with anyone else.
Peggy and Mike were fantastic with my fur-boys! They sent me pictures and kept me up to date with all the fun my babies were having. I was worried my boys wouldn't want to come back home! Absolutely awesome experience and I would highly recommend them.
Peggy and Mike treated my pup so well in their home. They sent tons of photos and kept me updated, would definitely ask them again to watch Mojo.

Information Peggy T. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the following so I can best accommodate your dog: 1) How comfortable is your dog around unfamiliar people? Children? 2) For how long is your dog comfortable being alone in the house? 3) Does your dog have separation anxiety? If so, how do you relieve it? 4) Is your dog typically crated or closed in a room while you're away? Or does he or she have free roam of the house? 5) Does your dog have inappropriate chewing behavior, or does he or she get into things like garbage or dirty laundry? 6) Is your dog house-trained? 7) What food does your dog eat, and what is the feeding schedule? 8) Does your dog have any allergies? 9) Does your dog regularly take any medication? If so, what is the schedule? 10) What activities does your dog enjoy? What are his or her favorite toys and treats?
A typical day
We have a quiet neighborhood with no through-traffic to walk through, and plenty of grassy areas to play in. We can also go on car rides if that's something your pet enjoys! That gives us the option to head to local parks for longer and more interesting walks. When not outside, your pet will get plenty of one-on-one attention in the form of playing, cuddling, scratching, and belly rubs. He or she will have free roam of the house and is welcome to sleep or sit wherever he or she pleases!
