Playful and loving
Pet care experience
I promise to treat your best friend like my best friend -- because that's what they'll become! I live an active lifestyle and can provide an outlet for high-energy dogs through runs or trips to the dog park. I'm also very loving and a good fit for those who live for a belly-rub or need physical affection; I believe in the importance of reading an animal's mood and being sensitive to their needs. Pets should be part of the family. My family got our first dog when I was 5 as a result of my relentless begging. Throughout my childhood and adult life I have been involved in our dogs' care-taking: feeding, exercise, grooming, play, medical issues, and socialization. As I work full-time, I'm the best fit for a pup whose needs can be primarily fulfilled in the evenings, overnights, and during weekends. All pets welcome!

I’ve debated posting this for quite some time but after thinking about it I feel others need to be warned. What Paige promises vs delivers are two different things. In our meet and greet we were very clear about our expectations of being home in the evenings since she worked during the day so that our LGD would not be crated in the evenings. We were able to watch her coming and goings (and that of her boyfriend) and most evening she came home from work, walked the dog for 15-20 minutes and left again for the evening not coming home until 10-12 midnight most nights. Meaning our dog, for 3 weeks was crated more than she wasn’t. Unfortunately Rover doesn’t have a means to recoup any of your money when the expectations are not met so she made well over 700 dollars for walking our dog once a day. In addition, she left before we arrived home the day we arrived back in the country citing “previous plans” and we discovered she had NOT picked up the dog poop for most of not all of that time in the small dog run we have, not was the cat box clean. I called her to ask about it and her reply was she felt it was a waste of plastic poop bags to clean it every day so she shoveled it into a pile and left it. No offer to come clean it up. She fed our dog chicken and left the bones in the refrigerator. After being explicitly told before we left we do not feed our dog people food. Her reply was “I find that when dogs are stressed they will gobble their food down when you add some real meat to it”. Our dog eats slowly throughout the evening - something she wasn’t able to do because she was crated because Paige wasn’t home. So she basically lured the dog Into eating quickly so she could leave. She also turned off the powerstrip to the house camera while we were away. So we couldn’t see when the dog was in and out, but the ring doorbell told us when the sitter was in and out - So it didn’t really matter. Save your money. Find a better sitter. Paige talks the talk of a great house/pet sitter but unfortunately doesn’t walk the walk.
Have used Paige twice and would recommend her for taking care of your dog at your home! My Akita definitely enjoys her while I am away.
Paige has been a great dog sitter both weekends we were out of town. She's been able to work with our schedules and the dogs seem to really like her. I really appreciate her communication about arrival/departure times and flexibility with our in and out hours.
Paige was wonderful, i left town and went totally off the grid so i did not have any outside communication. She took care of everything so well i could hardly tell she was at my house. Thank you Paige from Rio and Rustler!
