I've known Oliver-Alexis for three and half years now - we initially met through a friend, and they offered to walk and look after my dog, Tegan, when I was at work or out of town. We're very close friends now, and they have become one of Tegan's favorite people to spend time with. It's apparent in the reaction she has when they see each other: she lights up, becomes ecstatic, and whimpers with joy. I watch closely, and I see something special in the way Oliver-Alexis behaves toward and around Tegan - they are calm, sweet, attentive, playful, and generous in physical affection. It's a dog magic that I rarely see in other humans. On top of that, in our interactions they are communicative, direct, respectful, and responsible. As I reflect on them while writing this, I'm already jealous of all of you who have the opportunity to have Oliver-Alexis in your dog care plans.
