Thank you, above expectations!!! ??

This was my first try using Rover and I was extremely disappointed. I chose Nicole because she had good reviews and repeat business. My experience with Nicole, however, was a disaster. I asked Nicole to be at my house by 10 am - both within the booking and in person when we met for a "meet and greet". I was at the airport all checked in and waiting to board, but had not heard from Nicole that she had arrived at my house, so I began texting her at 11:25 - NO response. I texted several more times and tried calling, but the calls would just drop - not answer and no voicemail. I called the Rover safety number and they tried reaching Nicole without success. I was supposed to board my plane at 12:05, but was not willing to go without Nicole would be there to take care of my dog and cat. So I CANCELLED my trip - after driving an hour to the airport, parking my car, checking in and going through security - and PANICKING because I did not know what was going on at home with my pets. Nicole finally called me back at 12:20 claiming she had fallen asleep. NOT ACCEPTABLE - if you make a commitment to take care of my pets, you don't use the excuse that you fell asleep and forgot about them! I was traveling to see a very close friend who is in the end stages of cancer and I had to cancel the trip. I was crushed. I will never book through a service like Rover again - only using people referred by friends.
