Snuggles & love for your pup!

Pet care experience

My husband and I have a lovely three bed, two bath townhome in Steveston right on the dyke. I'm a fun, outgoing, crazy dog lady! I'm the person who greets every random dog on the street and loves all canines, big and small, fluffy or hairless, young or old, they all get love from me! The more kisses, the better! We are pet parents to our two wonderful Havanese, Roscoe and Stella, who are both 10 years old. Our dogs are our children, we love them more than words could possibly say. We are crazy about dogs! I have been involved with dogs for my entire life. As a child, my family raised Dobermans, and I am comfortable and familiar with dogs of all breeds, personalities, and sizes. Given that we share our home with our two furbabies, only pups that get along with other (small) dogs will be accepted into our home. I ask each pet parent to participate in a meet and greet to ensure that my pups and your pup will get along great! Our home is roomy with plenty of room for pups to play, and our neighborhood is very dog friendly. Living right on the dyke is perfect for walks and playtime. We look forward to meeting you and caring for your furry friend(s)!

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Natalie was extremely welcoming to our little 3 month old puppy. We had a last minute change in our sitter arrangements and were in a bit of a bind. Not only was she available for a meet and greet but was able to let Jett come back to stay that evening. She and her husband are both very warm and patient animal lovers. They were helpful in supporting our training needs as well. We are so very thankful we found such a wonderful couple to take care of our furry baby boy while we were gone. We have 2 and 4 year old little girls that were so so sad to leave their little buddy. Natalie sent a great number of videos and photos to help the girls see how much fun he wad with Stella and Roscoe... the resident dogs :D We look forward to having them take Jett in again the next time with travel. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

We are so fortunate to have found Natalie and Tim to care for Cali when we are away. Their home is truly Cali's home away from home!! Cali receives the best care and love when she is under their watch. She truly becomes part of their family. As a bonus, Cali's loves hanging out with Stella and Roscoe!!!

Natalie was such a caring and knowledgeable sitter for our dog, who had an unusual bout of accidents in her home, but Natalie was very understanding. She sent photos of Carly having a great time, and Carly loved her dogs! I wouldn't hesitate to ask Natalie to take care of our dog again.

Information Natalie P. would like to know about your pet

I request a meet and greet with all dogs prior to booking. It's most important to me that my dogs are comfortable with your dog(s), and vice versa. I'd like to know about any behavior issues, any quirks, medical issues, allergies, and how s/he gets along with other dogs. I prefer to host smaller dogs, however, I am open to hosting big dogs who are well behaved and calm. My little two pups tend to get a little scared around dogs who are big and rambunctious! I ask that my clients provide all the necessities for their pup's stay and that I have current veterinary contact information. In addition, we prefer your pooch to be clean upon arrival, as we have some light colored furniture and we assume that most pups will want to sleep in bed with us!

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks: The West Loop is a great neighborhood for dogs! We will walk up and down Randolph, and down Sangamon to Mary Bartelme park. There is a great dog park at Mary Bartelme, so if your dog likes the dog park, we will certainly bring him or her there! We will scale your pup's walk to his or her individual exercise needs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Wherever s/he is most comfortable. If your pooch is used to snuggling up in bed, s/he is more than welcome in our bed. If Fido is used to sleeping in a dog bed or crate, that can be arranged, too. Time I'll spend with your dog: I'm a full-time MBA student and have class just three times per week. I'm a pretty big homebody and am rarely gone for more than a 3-4 hours at at time. I usually spend my days playing with my pups, doing homework/research, and binge watching TV shows on Hulu.
